Answer:

The mass of the liquid = 10538 kg

Explanation:

The pressure in a liquid is

P = ρgh ......................... Equation 1

ρ = P/gh ...................... Equation 2

Where P = pressure, ρ = density, g = acceleration due to gravity, h = height.

Given: p = 1.3 atm, h = 2.0 m, g = 9.81 m/s²

If, 1 atm = 1.013×10⁵ N/m²

Then, P = 1.3×1.013×10⁵ N/m² = 1.3169×10⁵ N/m²

Substituting in equation 2,

ρ = 1.3169×10⁵/(9.81×2)

ρ = 1.3169×10⁵/19.62

ρ = 6712.03 kg/m³.

But Density,

ρ = m/v

m = ρ × v........................ Equation 3

Where m = mass of the liquid, v = volume of the liquid in the vat

v = πd²h/4, where d = diameter = 1.0 m, h = 2.0 m.

v = 3.14(1)²×2/4

v = 1.57 m³ also, ρ = 6712.03 kg/m³.

Substituting into equation 3

m = 1.57×6712.03

m = 10537.887 kg

m ≈ 10538 kg.

Thus the mass of the liquid = 10538 kg

Anettt [7]
So we want to know what kind of wave is the scientist is studying while studying earthquakes. Waves that produce earthquakes are mechanical waves. Gamma rays and radiowaves are both electromagnetic waves and don't require a medium but mechanical do. So the correct answer is mechanical waves.

Answer: white shirt-reflect

top hat- reflect

elepahnt- i think absorb im quite sure

Explanation:

Reflection means that they are thrown back from a surface; absorption means that they are incorporated by a surface and transformed into heat energy. Different surfaces reflect and absorb differently. Different shirts with different colors will absorb light of different wavelength. Black shirt will absorb all colors of light while white shirt will reflect all colors of light. thats why on a hot day you wouldnt want to wear a black t shirt.

A flash of white light containing all the colors of the visible spectrum in air shines straight down on the surface of a pool. W
Mila [183]

Answer:

The blue light

Explanation:

Spectrums of visible light with longer wavelength are absorbed more quickly such as red than those with shorter wavelength. This contributes to why blue with higher energy and shorter wavelength is able to penetrate deeply compared to others that are easily absorbed. Blue light persist longer so it reaches the depth first while so of others are absorbed.

What is true of the moon's orbital and rotational periods?
Eddi Din [679]
The moon's orbital and rotational periods are identical or the same, Its rate of spin is done in unison with its rate of revolution (the time that is needed to complete one orbit). Thus, the moon rotates exactly once every time it circles the Earth.
