The way to find this out is you want to take the number of seeds and divide it by the amount he would like in the pack. You want to see how many 12s can fit into 360. 360/12 if you divide 360 by 12, you will come to your total and final answer of 30 :)

worty [1.4K]
<h3>Check the possibilities:</h3><h2>A:</h2>

u(n)=n-1

u(6)=6-1= True

u(10)=10-1≠7 False

<h3>A is eliminated.</h3>

<h2>B:</h2>

u(n)=2n-7

u(6)=2(6)-7=12-7=5 True

u(10)=2(10)-7=20-7≠7 False

<h3>B is eliminated.</h3>

<h2>C:</h2>

u(n)=0.5n+2

u(6)=0.5(6)+2=3+2=5 True

u(10)=0.5(10)+2=5+2=7 True

<h2>C is your answer.</h2>

<h3>Check D although we know it's C:</h3>

u(n)=n/6 +4

u(6)=6/6 +4=1+4=5 True

u(10)=10/6 +4=2.5+4=6.5≠7 False

The diameter of a truck tire is 22inches Approximately how fat will the truck have traveled after 5 rotations of these tires
kvasek [131]

Answer:

The truck have travelled 345.5 inches after 5 rotations of the tires

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Diameter of the tyre= 22 inches

Number of rotations= 5

To find:

Distance travelled after 5 rotations=?

Solution:

We have given with diameter,

So let radius be r

r= \frac{diameter}{2}

r=\frac{22}{2}

r=11 inches

The distance covered by one rotation is given by circumference

Circumference =2\pi r

Substituting the values, we get

Circumference =2\times\pi\times r

Circumference =2\times\pi\times 11

Circumference =2\times\3.14\times 11

Circumference =6.28\times 11

Circumference = 69.11

Now for 5 rotation,

Distance travelled = 5\times(\text{circumference value})

Distance travelled = 5\times(69.11)

Distance travelled = 5\times(69.11)

The truck will travel 345.5 inches.
