You graph them as the same way you graph linear equation, y-int and then the slope.the first equation is greater than, so you'll draw a dashed line and shade the part that is greater. the second equation is less than or equal to, so you'll draw a solid line instead and shade the less part. and at the point the lines meet, you see the most shadest part. pick any order pair that is laid in that area

What is 55> -7v +6 plzz help, this my homework
Vanyuwa [196]
The answer is v>7 Because when solving the equation you do inverse operation on 6 which be negative six .Then subtract negative 6 on both sides.
Next you bring down negative 7v along with the solution to 55-6 which is 47.Then you divide 7 on both sides which gives you 7.Then bring down the v
and it give the solution of v>7

Hope this helps stacey:)

8.23 A manufacturing company produces electric insulators. You define the variable of interest as the strength of the insulators
Kitty [74]

Answer:

The 95% confidence interval estimate for the population mean force is (1691, 1755).

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the Central Limit Theorem if we have an unknown population with mean μ and standard deviation σ and appropriately huge random samples (n > 30) are selected from the population with replacement, then the distribution of the sample mean will be approximately normally.

The sample selected here is <em>n</em> = 30.

Thus, the sampling distribution of the sample mean will be normal.

Compute the sample mean and standard deviation as follows:

\bar x=\frac{1}{n}\sum x=\frac{1}{30}\times 51702=1723.4\\\\s=\sqrt{\frac{1}{n-1}\sum (x-\bar x)^{2}}=\sqrt{\frac{1}{30-1}\times 232561.2}=89.55

Construct a 95% confidence interval estimate for the population mean force as follows:

CI=\bar x\pm z_{\alpha /2}\times\frac{s}{\sqrt{n}}

    =1723.4\pm 1.96\times\frac{89.55}{\sqrt{30}}\\\\=1723.4\pm 32.045\\\\=(1691.355, 1755.445)\\\\\approx (1691, 1755)

Thus, the 95% confidence interval estimate for the population mean force is (1691, 1755).

What's the probability you roll the same number twice on a regular dice?
jekas [21]
1/6 because the first number that you roll doesn't matter so it depends on the 2nd roll, in which the probability of rolling a specific number is 1/6
