Sound is made when air molecules. Vibrate and move in a wave pattern, so sound moves in waves of compressions and refractions (expansion).

Hope this helps! :)

What is the mass, in grams, of 122 atoms of aluminum? Round your answer to proper significant figures.
tangare [24]

Answer:

Mass = 547.02 × 10⁻²³g

Explanation:

Given data:

Number of atoms of Al = 122 atom

Mass in gram = ?

Solution:

Avogadro number:

The given problem will solve by using Avogadro number.

It is the number of atoms , ions and molecules in one gram atom of element, one gram molecules of compound and one gram ions of a substance.  The number 6.022 × 10²³ is called Avogadro number.

1 mole = 6.022 × 10²³ atoms

122 atom/6.022 × 10²³ atoms ×  1 mol

20.26× 10⁻²³ mol

Mass in gram:

Mass = number of moles  × molar mass

Mass = 20.26× 10⁻²³ mol  × 27 g/mol

Mass = 547.02 × 10⁻²³g

Calculate the energy required to heat 322.0g of ethanol from −2.2°C to 19.6°C . Assume the specific heat capacity of ethanol und
just olya [345]

Answer:

There is 17.1 kJ energy required

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

Mass of ethanol = 322.0 grams

Initial temperature = -2.2 °C = 273.15 -2.2 = 270.95K

Final temperature = 19.6 °C = 273.15 + 19.6 = 292.75 K

Specific heat capacity = 2.44 J/g*K

Step 2: Calculate energy

Q = m*c*ΔT

⇒ m = the mass of ethanol= 322 grams

⇒ c = the specific heat capacity of ethanol = 2.44 J/g*K

⇒ ΔT = T2 - T1 = 292.75 - 270.95 = 21.8 K

Q = 322 * 2.44 * 21.8 = 17127.8 J = 17.1 kJ

There is 17.1 kJ energy required

Which isomer of 1-bromo-2-tert-butylcyclohexane reacts faster when refluxed with potassium tert-butoxide?Draw the structure of t
ivolga24 [154]

Answer:

See explanation and image attached

Explanation:

The reaction of 1-bromo-2-tert-butylcyclohexane with  potassium tert-butoxide is an elimination reaction that occurs by E2 mechanism.

The E2 reaction proceeds faster when the hydrogens are in an antiperiplanar position at an angle of 180 degrees.

This is only attainable in the trans isomer of 1-bromo-2-tert-butylcyclohexane. Hence trans 1-bromo-2-tert-butylcyclohexane reacts faster with potassium tert-butoxide
