Neutralization of Gastric Acid. In the duodenum, gastric acid is neutralized by sodium bicarbonate (pH of about 8.5)
The pH of sodium citrate solutions typically exceeds 7.0, and common antacid, calcium carbonate, is 9.91.
Considering bleach has a pH of about 13 that’s definitely the wrong answer.
7 sounds the most reasonable but 6.5 is not far off.

A photon of light with a frequency of 2.74 x 1014 Hz collides with an electron. How much energy
sesenic [268]

Answer:

1.82x10⁻¹⁹Joules is the energy of the photon that is absorbed by the electron.

Explanation:

The energy of a photon is given by the equation:

E = h×ν

Where E is energy of the photon in Joules.

h is Planck's constant (6.6262x10⁻³⁴Js)

And ν is frequency of the photon (In Hz = s⁻¹)

The frequency of the photon is 2.74x10¹⁴Hz. That means its energy is:

E = 6.6262x10⁻³⁴Js × 2.74x10¹⁴s⁻¹

E =

1.82x10⁻¹⁹Joules is the energy of the photon that is absorbed by the electron

For the mineral torbernite, Cu(UO2)2(PO4)2⋅8H2O, determine the ratio, by number, of H atoms to O atoms
astra-53 [7]
H:O = 4:5; (UO₂)₂ = 4 O atoms; (PO₄)₂ = 8 O atoms: 8H₂O = 16 H atoms + 8 O atoms; Total = 16 H atoms + 20 O atoms; H:O = 16:20 = 4:5
