Answer:

Decomposition

Explanation:

The equation 2 H₂O₂ → 2 H₂O + O₂ is an example of a decomposition reaction. During decomposition, a compound breaks down into two or more products under the favorable conditions, without combining with other reagents.

However, the reaction can be catalyzed using a suitable catalyst.

Answer:

Which of these sentences from the excerpt most strongly supports the correct answer to Question 5?

Answer choices for the above question

Quesiton 5 says

Which of these inferences about the author’s point of view is best supported by the entire excerpt?

From: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" lesson

A. “She’s simply called HeLa, the code name given to the world’s first immortal human cells—her cells, cut from her cervix just months before she died.”

B. “I’ve spent years staring at that photo, wondering what kind of life she led, what happened to her children, and what she’d think about cells from her cervix living on forever—bought, sold, packaged, and shipped by the trillions to laboratories around the world.”

C. “One scientist estimates that if you could pile all HeLa cells ever grown onto a scale, they’d weigh more than 50 million metric tons—an inconceivable number, given that an individual cell weighs almost nothing.”

D. “All of the stories mentioned that scientists had begun doing research on Henrietta’s children, but the Lackses didn’t seem to know what that research was

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

ust use the equation

M1 X V1 = M2 X V2

where M1 is the initial concentration, V1 the volume of M1, M2 the final concentration and V2 the final volume. Here you are looking for V1 so, first solve for V1 and put in the numbers.

V1 = (M2 X V2)/M1 = (3 X 0.5)/18 = 0.5/6 = 0.083 L or 83 mL

What makes an ionic difference than a covalent bond
Eva8 [605]
I’m not completely sure what you mean here but if your talking about charges in covalently bonded molecules then here is something:

Charges in covalent bonds are partial because the ions are shared when bonding.

The charges are no longer full and strong they are half charges, they are not as strong.

You might want to just google a little bit. :)

Hope that helps

Ammonium carbonate NH4CO2NH2 decomposes as follows
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

Kp = 0.0146

Explanation:

We can solve this equilibrium problem using an ICE Table. There are 3 stages: I(Initial), C(Change) and E(Equilibrium). Only gases and aqueous species participate in the equilibrium.

    NH₄CO₂NH₂ ⇄ 2 NH₃(g) + CO₂(g)

I                                    0             0

C                                 +2x          +x

E                                   2x            x

Total gas pressure is equal to the sum of partial pressures at equilibrium.

pNH₃ + pCO₂ = 0.463 atm

2x    +     x     = 0.463 atm

3 x = 0.463 atm

    x = 0.154 atm

Then,

pNH₃ = 0.308 atm

pCO₂ = 0.154 atm

We can replace this data in the Kp expression.

Kp=pNH_{3}^{2} \times pCO_{2} =0.308^{2} \times 0.154 = 0.0146
