To start this test, you need to identify the variables it presents. As you may already know, there are independent and dependent variables. Independent variables are those that act on a factor, influencing it to generate a result. In the case of this experiment, the independent variable is the completion of the homework. The dependent variable, in turn, is the factor that receives the influence of the independent variable, in this experiment this variable is the final grade you received in the course.

After that you must select a number of students, give them their homework and ask each student to complete a percentage of that amount. An example of this could be that you select 11 students and ask the first to complete 0% of the homework, the second student must complete 10%, the third 20% and so on, and the 11th student must complete 100% of the homework.

after that, note what was the final grade that each student received in the course and make a graph to show the results.

The y-axis of the graph must represent the dependent variable, while the x-axis must represent the independent variable. This way you will show the exact relationship between completing homework and the final grade of the course.

Which of dalton's postulates about atoms are inconsistent with later observations? do these inconsistencies mean that dalton was
Neporo4naja [7]

1) Dalton stated that atom is matter that can not be divided, but it is proved that the atom can be divided into subatomic particles (electrons, protons and neutrons).

2) He stated that atoms of one element can not be changed into atoms of other elements, but now that is possible by nuclear reactions.

Today we still use his postulate: Atoms combine in the ratio of small whole numbers to form stable compounds, for example H₂O.

How do I convert units the easiest
damaskus [11]
To convert among units in the metric system, identify the unitthat you have, the unit that you want to convert to, and then count the number of units between them. If you are going from a larger unit to a smaller unit, you multiply by 10 successively

What is the primary cause of diffusion? some substances can dissolve in solvents heat added to a substance random internal motio
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

random internal motion of atoms and molecule

Explanation:

The primary cause of diffusion is the random internal motion of atoms and molecules.

Randomness of atoms and molecules results in diffusion.

 • Diffusion is the movement of particles from a region of high concentration to that of lower concentration.
 • Substances often tend to spread out over the concentration gradient.
 • Therefore, they have this propensity to be randomized.

What happens at the cathode in an electrolytic cell?

(Answer is reduction)
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

At the cathode in an electrolytic cell, ions in the surrounding solution are reduced into atoms, which precipitate or plate out on to the solid cathode. The anode is where oxidation takes place, and the cathode is where reduction takes place.
