To start this test, you need to identify the variables it presents. As you may already know, there are independent and dependent variables. Independent variables are those that act on a factor, influencing it to generate a result. In the case of this experiment, the independent variable is the completion of the homework. The dependent variable, in turn, is the factor that receives the influence of the independent variable, in this experiment this variable is the final grade you received in the course.

After that you must select a number of students, give them their homework and ask each student to complete a percentage of that amount. An example of this could be that you select 11 students and ask the first to complete 0% of the homework, the second student must complete 10%, the third 20% and so on, and the 11th student must complete 100% of the homework.

after that, note what was the final grade that each student received in the course and make a graph to show the results.

The y-axis of the graph must represent the dependent variable, while the x-axis must represent the independent variable. This way you will show the exact relationship between completing homework and the final grade of the course.

tigry1 [53]

Answer:

There are 8Si atoms and 16 O atoms per unit cell

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Edge length l=0.700nm=>0.7*10^9nm

Density \rho=2.32g/cm^3

Generally the equation for Volume is mathematically given by

V=l^3

V=(0.7*10^9)m^3

V=3,43*10^-{22}cm

Where

Molar mass of  (SiO2) for one formula unit

M=28+32

M=60g/mol

Therefore

Density of Si per unit length is

\rho_{si}=\frac{9.96*10^{23}}{3.43*10^22}

\rho=0.29

Molar mass of  (SiO2) for one formula unit

M=28+32

M=60g/mol

Therefore

There are 8Si atoms and 16 O atoms per unit cell

which components of an endothermic reaction have a higher heat content?-reactants-products-reaction vessel-water
lana66690 [7]
Please, observe that it is not right to say that a substance content heat.

Heat is not something that a body or substance content. Heat is the transmission of energy due to difference of temperatures.

An endothermic reactions is that where the reactants abosorb energy from the surroundings to occur. The products, then, will be higher in energy than the reactants while the surroundings get colder.

Significant digits are the number of digits that reflect the precision of a measurement or number.
Delvig [45]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Significant digits are numbers that helps to present the precision of measurements calculations.

Numbers that do not contribute to the precision of a reading should not be counted as significant.

There are rules of assigning significant numbers:

  • Leading or trailing zeros are insignificant and should only be counted as a place holder.
  • All non-zero digits are significant
  • Zeroes between non-zero digits are significant.
  • Leading zeros in a decimal are significant before the number.
  • All the numbers in a scientific notation are significant.

3. A 3.455-g sample of a mixture was analyzed for barium ion by adding a small excess of sulfuric acid to an aqueous solution of
erik [133]

Answer:

Ba\ percentage\ in\ Mass=4.8\%

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Mass of mixture m=3.455g

Mass of Barium m_b=0.2815g

Equation of Reaction is given as

Ba2+ + H2SO4 => BaSO4 + 2 H+

Generally the equation for Moles of Barium  is mathematically given by

Since

 Moles of Ba^{2+} = Moles of BaSO_4

Therefore

 Moles of Ba^{2+}  = \frac{mass}{molar mass of BaSO4}

 Moles of Ba^{2+} = \frac{0.2815}{233.39}= 0.0012061 mol

Generally the equation for Mass of Barium  is mathematically given by

 Mass\ of\ Ba^{2+} = Moles * Molar mass of Ba^{2+}

 Mass\ of\ Ba^{2+} = 0.0012061 * 137.33 = 0.1656 g

Therefore

 Ba\ percentage\ in\ Mass = mass of Ba^{2+}/mass of sample * 100%

 Ba\ percentage\ in\ Mass= \frac{0.1656}{ 3.455 }* 100%

 Ba\ percentage\ in\ Mass=4.8\%
