Answer:

the trip will take a total of 4h 32m

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that Brandon's father travels 60 miles per hour, to know how long it takes to travel 272 miles we first have to know how long it takes to travel 1 mile and then multiply it by the number of miles he travels

60 mi = 1h

1 hour equals 60 minutes

1h = 60 m

60 mi = 60 m

we divide both parts by 60

60 mi / 60 = 60 m / 60

1 mi = 1m

brandon's father travels 1 mile per minute

we multiply 272 which is the number of miles I travel and we will get how long it takes

1 mi = 1m

1 mi * 272= 1m * 272

272mi = 272m

it takes 272 minutes to travel

we convert the minutes to hours

272m = 4h 32m

Count the units on the sides. On the Y axis the rectangle is 4 units and on the X axis the rectangle is 6 units. Area of a rectangle=L*W so, 6*4=24. Perimeter is 4*2 and 6*2=8+12=20. Hope this helps!

How find a ratio of the area of a circle and a square
ladessa [460]

Answer:

CIRCLE : CIRCLE

Ratio of area is the scale factor squared. So find the radii of the two circles, square both values, and simplify the ratio.

SQUARE : SQUARE

Ratio of area is the scale factor squared, So find the side lengths of the two squares, square both values, and simplify the ratio.

SQUARE : CIRCLE

Using the formulas A = s*s and A = pi*r^2, find the areas of the circle and the square. Then simplify the ratio.
