Pivot point: It is the point around which pendulum oscillations occur.
Rope: Is one that is between the pivot point and the mass m. Thanks to the tension of the rope and its length, it is possible that oscillations of the pendulum occur.
Mass: is the one that is placed on the end of the rope of the pendulum.
The period of a pendulum is:
T = 2 * pi * root (l / g)
where,
l = length of the rope
g = gravity

The three parts of a pendulum is cable or wire, a bob or weight, and a fixed point. The fixed point is the starting point of where the wire hangs from and the weight is what's attached to the wire or the end point of wire. Depending on length of wire, the pendulum moves at a certain uniform speed.

How does the molecular structure of a water molecule affect its polarity?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

The polarity of water molecules means that molecules of water will stick to each other like when unlike charges attracts. This is called hydrogen bonding.

Polarity makes water a good solvent, gives it the ability to stick to itself (cohesion), stick to other substances (adhesion), and have surface tension (due to hydrogen bonding).

When the two hydrogen atoms bond with the oxygen, they attach to the top of the molecule. This molecular structure gives the water molecule polarity, or a lopsided electrical charge that attracts other atoms. The end of the molecule with the two hydrogen atoms is positively charged.
