For this case we have the following definitions:
 cosx= \frac{C.A}{h}
 sinx= \frac{C.O}{h}
 Where,
 x: angle
 C.O: opposite leg
 C.A: adjacent leg
 h: hypotenuse
 Since the hypotenuse is constant, then the angle for which the legs are equal is 45 degrees.
 We have then:
 sin45=cos45= \frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}
 Answer:
 B. 45º

For a right triangle, the sine of an angle is the ratio of the length of the side opposite to it and the hypotenuse and the its cosine is the ratio between the side adjacent to it and the hypotenuse. From the given choices, the angle being referred to is letter B. 45°.

velikii [3]
His car gets 21 mpg (miles per gallon). With 1 gallon he can drive 21 miles. For example, with 10 gallons, he can drive 21 mpg * 10 gal = 210 miles.

He bought $19.50 worth of gas at $1.40 per gallon.
$19.50 / ($1.40/gal) = 13.93 gal

He already had 5 gal of gas in his tanks, so now he has
5 gal + 13.93 gal = 18.93 gal

With 18.93 gal, he can drive
18.93 gal * 21 mpg = 292.5 miles

Find the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 15 inches... Round to the nearest tenth and include units in your answer..
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

<em>47. 1 inches ; where inches ⇒ units</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the Circumference as such;

Diameter - 15 inches,\\Circumference - 2\pi r, r - radius,\\\\2\pi r = \pi d, d - diameter ( considering, 2 * r = diameter )\\\\Circumference = \pi * d = \pi * diameter = \pi * 15 = ( About ) 47.1 inches\\Solution; Circumference = ( About ) 47.1 inches

<em>From this we can tell that ⇒ Answer; 47. 1 inches, where inches - units</em>
