I hope this helps in some way. I forgot to mention that the question states they want to find THE NUMBER OF MOLES for H2O. Yherefore, you would want mol of H2O on top.

Which of the following shows three elements in order of decreasing electronegativity?
damaskus [11]

Answer:

The correct answer is option D which is the decreasing order of conductivity is Mn, O, Ge.

Explanation:

You can easily answer this if you know the periodic trends. For the property of electrical conductivity, it decreases across a period and decreases also down a group. Thus, the most conductive element must be Mn, while the least conductive one is Ge. So, the answer is: -Mn, O, Ge

PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST
aleksklad [387]

Answer:

Explanation:

Gravity pulls the balls down the ramp, and the force of gravity is bigger on larger-mass objects. The extra force on the bigger ball means that it has more energy when it gets to the bottom of the ramp and consequently travels more before stopping.

A polyatomic ion can be found in which of the following choices?
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

Indeed, most ionic compounds contain polyatomic ions. Well-known examples are sodium hydroxide (NaOH) with OH- as the polyatomic anion, calcium carbonate (CaCO3), and ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3), which contains two polyatomic ions: NH+ and NO3-.

Write the net ionic equation for ammonium carbonate and lead(II) nitrate are combined. (Use the solubility rules provided in the
sashaice [31]

Answer: The net ionic equation is written below.

Explanation:

Net ionic equation of any reaction does not include any spectator ions.

Spectator ions are defined as the ions which does not get involved in a chemical equation. They are found on both the sides of the chemical reaction when it is present in ionic form.

The chemical equation for the reaction of ammonium carbonate and lead (II) nitrate is given as:

(NH_4)_2CO_3(aq.)+Pb(NO_3)_2(aq.)\rightarrow 2NH_4NO_3(aq.)+PbCO_3(s)

Ionic form of the above equation follows:

2NH_4^{+}(aq.)+CO_3^{2-}(aq.)+Pb^{2+}(aq.)+2NO_3^{-}(aq.)\rightarrow PbCO_3(s)+2NH_4^+(aq.)+2NO_3^-(aq.)

As, ammonium and nitrate ions are present on both the sides of the reaction. Thus, it will not be present in the net ionic equation and are spectator ions.

The net ionic equation for the above reaction follows:

Pb^{2+}(aq.)+CO_3^{2-}(aq.)\rightarrow PbCO_3(s)

Hence, the net ionic equation is written above.
