6 0

Answer:

(a) Girl acceleration =  0.15 m/s², (b) Sled acceleration =  0.93 m/s²

Explanation:

Given:

M1=Mass of girl = 43 Kg

M2= mass of Sled = 7.1 Kg

Force F= 6.6 N

To Find (a) a1 = girl acceleration  (b) a2 = sled acceleration

Solution:

F1 = F2 = F   (Newton's 3rd Law)

F=ma (Newton's 2nd Law)

(a) F = M1a1

⇒a1 = F/M1 = 6.6 N / 43 Kg = 0.15 m/s²

(b) a2 = F / M2 = 6.6 N / 7.1 Kg =  0.93 m/s²

A series RCL circuit consists of a 50 Ω resistor, 500 Ω capacitor, and a 500 Ω inductor. What is the angle of impedance?
lbvjy [14]

Answer:

Zero

Explanation:

here, the inductive reactance and the capacitive reactance is same, so this is the condition for resonance.

In the condition for resonance,

the circuit and the voltage in the circuit is in the same phase and the impedance of the circuit is minimum which is equal to the resistance of the circuit.

The phase angle is given by

tan\phi =\frac{X_{L}-X_{C}}{R}

Ф = 0

A spinning rigid body has a rotational kinetic energy of 10 j and an angular speed of 10 s−1 . what is its rotational inertia?
boyakko [2]
Rotational kinetic energy = Iω²/2 = 10
I = rotational inertia(moment of inertia)
ω= angular speed = 10 s⁻¹

∴ 10 = I(10²)/2
∴ I = 20/10² = 0.2 kg-m²

Which statement best describes the magnetic effect of a bar magnet
DIA [1.3K]

Answer;

B. The field is most concentrated at the poles of the magnet

Explanation;

A bar magnet is a rectangular object that has a magnetic field. It is usually made of iron or steel, but it can also be made of any ferromagnetic substance or a ferromagnetic composite.

The magnetic field of a bar magnet is strongest at either pole of the magnet. It is equally strong at the north pole compared with the south pole. The force is weaker in the middle of the magnet and halfway between the pole and the center.

If small compasses are used to map the magnetic field around a bar magnet, they will point in the direction away from the north pole of the magnet, toward the south pole of the magnet

Doubling an object’s height will have what effect on its potential energy due to gravity?
timurjin [86]
Potential energy due to gravity = Ep = mgh [symbols have their usual meaning ]
Evidently, HALVING the mass will make Ep , HALF its previous value. So, It will be halved.
