In the movie Speed, a bus already moving faster than 55 mph will explode if the bus’ speed falls below 55 mph. Let say that the

bus is already moving at 80 mph when Sandra Bullock (the bus driver) passes out and her foot falls off the accelerator. 30.0 seconds later, the bus explodes. How far did the bus move after our girl Sandy passed out? Please answer in meters!

Answer:

The bus moved after our girl Sandy passed out = S = 905.04 m

Explanation:

At  t = 0 sec              Vi = 80mph = 35.76 m/s

    t = 30 sec             Vf = 55mph = 24.58 m/s

According to the first equation of motion

                   Vf = Vi + at

        24.587 = 35.76 + a(30)

        a  =  - 0.373 m/s2 (negative sign shows deceleration)

Now for distance travelled in 30 sec we have

second equation of motion

                  S=Vit+1/2at2

        S = 35.76 x 30 + 1/2 x -0.373 x 30 x 30

         S = 905.04 m

(6) Given that,

Force in east direction = 67 N

Force in west direction = 82 N

Solution,

According to the given figure,

Two forces are acting in opposite direction. Maximum force is acting in west direction. It means the net force is acting in west direction.

Net force = 82-67

= 15 N (Due west)

The forces are unbalanced. It is because the magnitude of force in west is more than in east.

Net force = 15 N, Direction of motion = West and the forces are unbalanced.

You and your friends are going on a picnic in a very small car. On your way, the car breaks down and you try to push it to get i
zaharov [31]

Answer:

The pushing of the car by you and your friends is the applied force and when the car moves, it means that the velocity has changed thus causing the movement or acceleration.

Explanation:

Newton's work on forces regarding motion can never be neglected by scientists. Sir Isaac Newton when he was alive, among several of his works he proposed the three laws guiding the forces of motion. In this question we are only going to be treating only one out of the three Newton's Law of motion and that is the second Law Of Newton's laws of motion.

The second Law Of Newton's laws of motion states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the applied force and inversely proportional to the object's mass.

(1). Now, to the question: " How are you and your friends applying Newton's second law of motion here? "

The pushing of the car by you and your friends is the applied force and when the car moves, it means that the velocity has changed thus causing the movement or acceleration.

According to the law, the more the Force, the more the acceleration.

(2). For the second part of the question, " What if the car you were traveling in was a large SUV?"

From the law stated above we see that the acceleration is inversely proportional to the mass, thus if the car is a large SUV, It means that more force is needed to change the car's velocity.

Neurons in our bodies carry weak currents that produce detectable magnetic fields. A technique called magnetoencephalography, or
Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

I = (1.80 × 10⁻¹⁰) A

Explanation:

From Biot Savart's law, the magnetic field formula is given as

B = (μ₀I)/(2πr)

B = magnetic field = (1.0 × 10⁻¹⁵) T

μ₀ = magnetic constant = (4π × 10⁻⁷) H/m

r = 3.6 cm = 0.036 m

(1.0 × 10⁻¹⁵) = (4π × 10⁻⁷ × I)/(2π × 0.036)

4π × 10⁻⁷ × I = 1.0 × 10⁻¹⁵ × 2π × 0.036

I = (1.80 × 10⁻¹⁰) A

Hope this Helps!!!
