Someone please help me on this what views did Qianlong have on trading with foreigners?
solmaris [256]

If you wanna understand this question a gotta look up the Chinese and European Opium War but I'll give my short answer to this.

Back during the Qing Dynasty, China was the zenith of economic leadership. They were prosperous in literally every single area of trade all across the globe. Because of this, the Qing emperor, Qianlong, knew China had no reason to seek better trade deals or go on ventures in expansionism. When the Europeans came to China to ask for basically spheres of influence and a piece of land to start more trade with China (the land with everything) which would only benefit the European opium, Qianlong was like "hell naw". Europe was like "bruh" and is still salty about it today. Qianlong was just stating the  economic situation at the time and in reaction to it he rejected the european trade requests cuz china had everything and he knew europe couldnt complain cuz they dont control a ton of the resources at that time.

What lasting impact did Reformation have on the Church, Europe and the Americas?
eduard

Answer:

Ultimately the Protestant Reformation led to modern democracy, skepticism, capitalism, individualism, civil rights, and many of the modern values we cherish today. The Protestant Reformation increased literacy throughout Europe and ignited a renewed passion for education. The Reformation seemed to lessen the opportunity for peasants to challenge their place in the class structure. Middle class members were more able to challenge the authority of the church; they took Luther's ideas of free-thinking and grasped the opportunity to have more control over their religious practices.

Consider the following syllogism:
astraxan [27]

Answer:

The given question is incomplete; options are missing.

The missing options are:

A. valid because this conclusion is believable.

B. valid because this is indeed a valid syllogism and the logic is apparent.

C. invalid because this syllogism does not involve a pragmatic reasoning schema.

D. invalid because of the influence of the atmosphere effect.

The correct answer is option A.

Explanation:

Syllogism is a rhetorical device used to draw a conclusion about certain arguments(premise). It is a form of logical reasoning.

A syllogism can be divided into three parts:

  • Minor premise
  • Major Premise
  • Conclusion

In the given case, the major premise is <em>"some tired people are irritable" </em>because it is stating a fact;<em> "all of the students are tired"</em> is a minor premise that is specifying a statement, and <em>"some of the students are irritable"</em> is a conclusion drawn from the major and minor premise.

This syllogism will be considered valid because the conclusion is believable.
