Each orbit is approximately 365.24 days ... the period we call a "year".

Four of those = 1,461 days  =  4 years .

We orbit the sun every year so it would take 4 years to orbit around the sun 4 times

The barometer of a mountain hiker reads 930 mbars at the beginning of a hiking trip and 780 mbars at the end. Neglecting the eff
lara31 [8.8K]
We could use the change of pressure to calculate for the height climbed by the mountain hiker. The change of pressure is given by

p = rho * g * h, where p is the change of pressure, rho is the air density, g is the acceleration due to gravity, and h is the height.

Using the conversion 1 mbar = 100 Pa,

(930 - 780)(100) = (1.20)(9.80)h
15000 = 1.20*9.80*h

h = 1.28 km

SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

F = 7.7*10^{-10}N

Explanation:

You need to be careful with units for this problem. The force will be:

F =\frac{K*m1*m2}{d^2}

F=\frac{6.67259 * 10^{-11}*1.56*21.1*10^{-3}}{(5.34*10^{-2})^2}

F=7.7*10^{-10}N

A generator contains a coil that spins to produce an electric current. How is energy transformed by using a generator
LiRa [457]

<u>Answer </u>

Mechanical energy ⇒ Electric energy

<u>Explanation </u>

A generator is used to produce electric energy. When he coils are made to rotate/spin, is makes the mechanical part. This coils rotates inside a magnetic fields inducing current in the coils. When current starts flowing in the coils, it forms the electrical part.

So, on the generator the energy changes are from mechanical to electrical energy.

When two waves meet in the same medium and the result is no wave what happened to the two waves
GaryK [48]
I believe destructive interference.

EXPLANATION: when two waves meet and a crest of one wave is parallel to the crest of another destructive interference occurs. You subtract the amplitude of the two waves that meet and you’ll get the amplitude of the wave they’ll form. If it is the same amplitude the result will be zero.
Hope this helps
