Answer:

Explanation:

inertia is the property of mass and it directly depends on the magnitude of the mass of the object

So we can say that if the body has larger mass then it must have more inertia

So as we know by the Newton's first law that if there is no unbalanced force on the objector system of mass then there is no change in the state of motion of the object.

So if the state of motion is at rest then the object will remain at rest always while the state of motion is in motion then it will remain in motion

Now if we would like to change the inertia of the object then it require more force for an object with larger inertia

So here we can say

according to newton's first law, massive objects have <u>MORE</u> inertia than small objects, which means it takes more force to move bigger things than smaller ones

One kind of slingshot consists of a pocket that holds a pebble and is whirled on a circle of radius r. The pebble is released fr
Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

θ=142.9°

Explanation:

d=1 *r

angle ϕ= 37.1°

the line connecting pebble and target should be tangent to a circle so

cos(180-ϕ-θ)=\frac{r}{d}=\frac{1}{1}

∴ θ=180-ϕ-cos^{-1} (\frac{1}{1} )

  θ= 180-37.1-0

  θ=142.9°

melomori [17]

The particles that move in orbits of the same radius have the same momentum.

<h3>Orbital angular momentum:</h3>

A point particle's three-dimensional angular momentum is traditionally represented by the pseudovector r p, which is the cross product of the particle's position vector r (relative to some origin) and momentum vector, which in Newtonian physics is denoted by p = mv.

L = mrV_{prep} = mr²w is the particle's orbital angular momentum in units of magnitude. The part of the particle's velocity that is here perpendicular to the axis of rotation is designated as V_{perp.} The right-hand rule indicates the direction of the angular momentum. In isolated systems, the angular momentum is conserved.
