Terrestrial biomes are classified by the climate and their biodiversity, especially the types of primary producers. Review the c

limatic data displayed in this graph of the major terrestrial biomes. The tundra and the desert seem like very different biomes but they do have something in common according to the graph. Determine common features of the biome by citing evidence from the graph. A) Both biomes receive less that 75 cm annual precipitation. B) Both biomes have nighttime temperatures that are below freezing. C) The primary producers of both biomes are low growing and non-woody. D) The growth of primary producers is restricted because of poor soil quality.

Find the acceleration for a force of 2 N acting on 2 kg.
igomit [66]

Answer:

The acceleration of a 2 kg box acted on by a net force of 2 N is solved by using Newton’s second law of motion in the form acceleration = F_net / mass. Since the mass of the box is 2 kg and the net force is 2 N, the acceleration of the 2 kg box is 1 m/s^2.

What are not some emotional reactions to stress?
ahrayia [7]
Any type of physical act isn’t a emotional reaction. Things like crying or yelling or getting mad at yourself is emotional. Changes in your activity level, change in eating, sleeping, sense of humor. Increased uses in tobacco or drugs, when you’re becoming accident prone, when you’re not able to relax, when your heart rate increases, headaches, startled easily, when you’re tired all the time and sleep doesn’t help (fatigue). For women your period might change. When you get lower back pain, upset stomach, flare ups that are associated with allergies asthma or arthritis and if you get sick easier. If you lose more hair than normal for your body. If you’re blood pressure is up. Things like this is physical. You might find people will isolate themselves or blame themselves. They may have a difficulty concentrating. You can look up so many ways that stress can affect a person physically

Derive an expression for the gravitational potential energy U(r) of the object-earth system as a function of the object's distan
Drupady [299]

Answer:

U(r)=-\frac{Gm_Emr^2}{2R^3_E}

Explanation:

We are given that

Gravitational force=F_g=\frac{Gm_Emr}{R^3_E}

r=0,U(0)=0

We know that

Gravitational potential energy=-\int F_gdr

U(r)=-\int\frac{Gm_Emr}{R^3_E}dr

U(r)=-\frac{Gm_Em}{R^3_E}\times \frac{r^2}{2}+C

Substitute r=0 ,U(0)=0

0=0+C

C=0

Substitute the value

U(r)=-\frac{Gm_Emr^2}{2R^3_E}

A positively charged non-metal ball A is placed near metal ball B. Prove that if the charge on B is positive but of small magnit
nordsb [41]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Ball A is a non positively charged non metal while ball B is metal ball.

Given: The ball B positive charge of small magnitude

To prove: Balls will attract each other

IN this condition because of induction negative charges on the sphere B move to the side closer to sphere A,(induction charging) while the positive charges move to the side further away from sphere A. The polarization of charge on B will cause a greater attractive force than the repulsion of the like charges.

Hence the correct answer will be D .
