Which statements about inertia and centripetal force are correct? Check all that apply. Inertia is always present. Inertia cause

s objects to continue moving in circles. Centripetal force is always present. Centripetal force pulls objects toward the center of a circle. Inertia and centripetal force cause circular motion.

Inertia IS always present. Inertia is NOT the force that causes objects to continue moving in circles, that is centripetal force. Centripetal force is NOT always present. Centripetal force DOES pull objects toward the center of a circle. Inertia and centripetal force DOES cause circular motion. Thank you and eat sand fren ;)

olga55 [171]
The scientist is likely to be studying kinematics.
Kinematics is the branch of science, specifically physics, which is concerned with the motion of objects without reference to the forces that induce this motion. An example of kinematics is studying the change in velocity of an object over time or the distance covered by an object in a specified amount of time.

Which statement about thin lenses is correct? In each case, we are considering only a single lens. A. A diverging lens always pr
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

E) true. The image is always virtual and erect

Explanation:

In this exercise we are asked to find the correct statements,

for this we can use the constructor equation

     1 / f = 1 / p + 1 / q

where f is the focal length, p the distance to the object and q the distance to the image

In diverging lenses, the focal length is negative and the image is virtual and erect

In convergent lenses, the positive focal length, if the object is farther than the focal length, the image is real and inverted, and if the object is at a shorter distance than the focal length, the image is virtual and straight.

With this analysis let's review each statement

A) False. The image is right

B) False. The type of image depends on where the object is with respect to the focal length

C) False. The real image is always inverted

D) False. The image is always virtual

E) true. The image is always virtual and erect

Two men each weigh 650 N. One man carries +1.0 C of excess charge, the other −1.0 C of excess charge. How far apart must they be
sergejj [24]

Coulomb's law:

F = k×q₁×q₂/r² where k ≈ 9.00×10⁹NC⁻²m²

Given values:

q₁ = +1.0C

q₂ = -1.0C

F = 650N

Substitute the terms in Coulomb's law with our given values. We will have to use the absolute value of q₂ to so the algebra works out. Solve for r:

650 = 9.00×10⁹×1.0×1.0/r²

r = 3721m

Taking significant figures into account:

r = 3700m
