Answer: D

When the compass placed near the working of electric wire, the compass needle will be redirected towards the magnetic field created by wire.

The electric wire cause the magnetic field just like a magnet causes magnetic field.

The electric currents always produces their magnetic fields. When we put the compass near the electric wire the current passes through it, and the needle of the compass will not move in north or south, instead, the needle will be pointed in the direction of magnetic field created by the wire.

D)

An electromagnet will, due to its lack of magnetism, will not affect the compass. A wire with electricity coursing through it creates a magnetic field. A compass placed within that magnetic field will in turn redirect its magnetic needle to point towards the magnetic south pole of that field. Additionally, a magnet moved across a wire encourages electrical flow. Therefore, the answer could not be C.

hope this helps

erik [133]

When driving on roads that may be slippery, do not make any sudden changes in speed or direction. Option D is correct.

What is a slippery surface?

The slick road sign serves as a warning. When the road is wet or ice, drivers should use extra caution and reduce their speed. When the weather is bad, avoid making any rapid changes in direction.

When driving on roads that may be slippery, do not make any sudden changes in speed or direction. It may cause accident because the vehicle can lose their balance.

Hence, option D is correct.

160 m/s because you start off with 10 and go up by 50*3 which is 150 then add that with the begging speed to achieve 160m/s.
