Horizontal distance covered is given as

x = 22 m

vertical distance climbed by is given as

y = 4.8 m

now we need top find the angle made by the displacement vector with respect to horizontal

So here we will say that we can use trigonometry to find out the angle with horizontal

The formula is given as

tan\theta = \frac{opposite \: side}{adjacent \: side}

here given that

opposite side = 4.8 m

adjacent side = 22 m

now we can plug in all data in above equation

tan\theta = \frac{4.8}{22}

tan\theta = 0.22

\theta = tan^{-1}0.22

\theta = 12.3 degree

so here the displacement will make 12.3 degree angle with horizontal

Nikitich [7]

Answer:

2960 N

Explanation:

Convert rev/min to rad/s:

150 rev/min × (2π rad/rev) × (1 min / 60 s) = 50π rad/s

Sum of forces in the centripetal direction:

∑F = ma

T = m v² / r

T = m ω² r

T = (0.2 kg) (50π rad/s)² (0.6 m)

T = 2960 N

A common technique used to measure the
vodomira [7]

Answer:

K=6\ N/m

Explanation:

<u>Force Constant of a Spring</u>

The force F applied to a spring produces a stretching distance x. These variables are linearly related as expressed by Hook's law:

F=K.x

If we could measure the distance a spring stretches when applying a known force, we'd be able to find the value of K. The experiment stated in the question places some mass of a known weight of 96 N that produced a stretching distance of 16 m. Knowing both variables, we can solve the above equation for K

\displaystyle K= \frac{F}{x}=\frac{96\ N}{16\ m}=6\ N/m

\boxed{K=6\ N/m}

How many newtons of force
Alisiya [41]

The amount of force needed by the truck to move the boulder is 200 N.

<h3>Force:</h3>

This can be defined as the product of mass and acceleration. The S.I unit of force is Newton or kgm/s²

To calculate the newton's of force a block needs to move, we use the formula below.

Formula:

  • W = Fd............. Equation 1

Where:

  • W = Work done by the truck
  • F = Force applied on the boulder
  • d = Distance moved by the boulder

Make F the subject of the equation

  • F = W/d................. Equation 2

From the question,

Given:

  • W = 2400 J
  • d = 12 meters

Substitute these values into equation 2

  • F = 2400/12
  • F = 200 N

Hence, the amount of force needed by the truck to move the boulder is 200 N.
