If thomson's model of the atom is correct, what would rutherford have seen in his experiments

If Thomson's atomic model was correct then it means the atom must be a positively charged sphere and electrons are randomly distributed in it.

Now in Rutherford's experiment we can see that he bombarded alpha particles towards the nuclei of an atom and then he observed the path of the alpha particles

Here in that case he will see that 100% of alpha particles will get deflected from it's initial path due to the repulsion of atom which is also to be assumed as positively charged

So in that case none of the alpha particle will move out undeviating in it's initial path

So this would be the experimental analysis of Rutherford experiment if whole atomic model presented by Thomson was correct

A 450g mass on a spring is oscillating at 1.2Hz. The totalenergy of the oscillation is 0.51J. What is the amplitude.
Volgvan

Answer:

A=0.199

Explanation:

We are given that

Mass of spring=m=450 g==\frac{450}{1000}=0.45 kg

Where 1 kg=1000 g

Frequency of oscillation=\nu=1.2Hz

Total energy of the oscillation=0.51 J

We have to find the amplitude of oscillations.

Energy of oscillator=E=\frac{1}{2}m\omega^2A^2

Where \omega=2\pi\nu=Angular frequency

A=Amplitude

\pi=\frac{22}{7}

Using the formula

0.51=\frac{1}{2}\times 0.45(2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 1.2)^2A^2

A^2=\frac{2\times 0.51}{0.45\times (2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 1.2)^2}=0.0398

A=\sqrt{0.0398}=0.199

Hence, the amplitude of oscillation=A=0.199

please help! need a answer as quick as possible please. i need help with questions 1 and 2 ! thank you
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

1.)When you arrive from school and you smell cookies baking in the kitchen your brain will tell you that you are hungry and that you should go to the kitchen at that point your sense organs like your nose helps you to detect that something is baking(cookies)and your nervous system (brain)will tell you that you are hungry and it will command/direct your brain to go to the kitchen then for you to eat the cookies and drink the milk the digestive system is going go help you to chew,swallow and digest the food which has been taken and when you also run to the kitchen at the beginning your brain will direct your skeletal and muscular system because the skeletons and muscles work hand in hand,and when you finish your meal the body will circulate some nutrients or minerals from the food or snack taken to other parts of the body for energy.

2.)When you sleep the whole body is asleep except the heart which needs to continue circulating blood around the whole system and sometimes the brain may not rest when you are sleeping it may continue to do it's work that's why some people usually sleep walk or sleep talk,it means the brain is not at rest and still doing some things....Thank you for the question I hope it is very useful to you.

Does changing amplitude, wavelength or frequency play a role in how bluetooth acts?
Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

Yes, bluetooth devices work in a frequency range between 2.4 - 2.485GHz. Outside this frequency the devices will not communicate with each other correctly. This frequency equals a wavelength of around 1cm. Therefore, any change in the amplitude or wavelength would need to be in relation to each other in order to maintain the frequency in the required range for the bluetooth device to work accordingly. If one increases while the other remains the same it can easily change the frequency to outside the range.
