Answer:

(x1,x2,x3) = (s,s,-0.25s)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is a systtem of equations

We are to solve them in parametric form.

x1+2x2+12x3=0\\2x1+x2+12x3=0\\-x1+x2 =0

From equation 3 we get

x1=x2

Substitute in 1 and 2 to get

3x1+12x3 =0 and 3x1 + 12 x3 =0

Thus we find these two equations are dependent.  So we can have infinite solutions in parametric form only. No unique solution is possible

Let x1 = x2 = s

Since 3x1 +12x3 =0

x1 = -4x3

Or x3 = -0.25s

So solution in parametric form is

(x1,x2,x3) = (s,s,-0.25s) for all real values s.

Answer:

the answer would be 4/10 but the simplified version would be 2/5.

Step-by-step explanation:

add up how many bows you have, that will be the denominator. Then, the numerator is the number of purple bows. and if your going to simplify it divide the numerator and denominator by 2.

y=x^2 + x - 2

x + y = 1

Replace y in the second equation:

x + x^2 + x -2 = 1

Simplify:

x^2 + 2x -2 = 1

Subtract 1 from both sides:

x^2 + 2x -3 = 0

Factor:

(x-1) (x+3) = 0

Solve for both x's:

x = 1 and x = -3

Now replace x in the second equation and solve for y using both x values:

1 + y = 1, y = 0

-3 + y = 1, y = 4

Now you have (1,0) and (-3,4) as solutions for (x,y)

XY = x times y:

1 x 0 = 0

-3 x 4 = -12

The answer would be -12

Answer:

-9 = 0.45m

Step-by-step explanation:

0.45m - 9 = 0.9m

  • ^ Subtract 0.45m from BOTH sides. so 0.9m - 0.45m... etc
  • Why? So that we can make the equation less complicated. Our goal is to isolate the variable m to be on one side of the "=" sign by itself
  • That will equal to:

-9 = 0.45m     <-- ANSWER
