Do 5*12 because that's 5*(4+4+4) which the 4s are the base lengths added together. So you have 60 for one part of the figure.

Next, you have 2*4 left to add on to the figure which is 8.

So 60+8=68 is your answer

68 units^2

Hope this helped!

Answer:

The area of the figure is 68ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the area look for the separate shapes in the figure, there are 2

One has the side lengths of 5ft and 12ft, to get the 12ft length see that one side is segmented into 3 4ft long lines.

5ft * 12ft= 60ft^2

The other shape has the side lengths of 2ft and 4ft

2ft*4ft= 8ft^2

60ft^2 + 8ft^2= 68ft^2

A cylinder with radius 3 feet and height 5 feet is shown.
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

The volume of the cylinder is <u>141.23 cubic feet </u>

Step by step explanation :

<u>Given</u>-

  • Radius of cylinder = 3 feet
  • Height of cylinder = 5 feet

Now, we know that

<h3>\boxed {\mathfrak \red{ volume \: of \: cylinder = \pi {r}^{2} h}}</h3>

where, r is the radius of the cylinder & h is the height of the cylinder.

Now,

Volume of the cylinder = \frac{22}{7}  \times  {3}^{2}  \times 5

=  \frac{22}{7}  \times 3 \times 3 \times 5

<h3>=   \frac{990}{7}</h3>

= 141.428571 ( approximately )

=  \boxed{ 141.43 \:  \mathfrak { {ft}^{3}} }

Figure below shows two triangles EFG and KLM
Vesna [10]

Answer:

last option

Step-by-step explanation:

To prove that ΔEFG is also a right triangle, you must prove that KL = EF so that in ΔKLM c² = a² + b² which would make ΔEFG a right triangle.
