Adam has 4 1/2 or 4.5 ounces of pumpkin seeds.
To find the answer you need to multiply 12 by 3/8 because the word each means multiplication
So 12*3/8=12/1*3/8 because to multiply whole numbers by fractions you first need to convert 12 into a fraction so 12 as a fraction is 12/1.Next you multiply across so you will end up having 36/8.Then you can reduce 36/8 and you will end up having 9/2.(you simplify by looking at which number could go into 36 and 8 and in this case it would be 4 then you have to divide 36 and 8 by 4).
Finally you convert 9/2 into a mixed number and you will end up with 4 1/2.(you convert an improper fraction into a mixed number by dividing the numerator by your denominator).

If to find the area of a triangle is to multiply 1/2 times the measure of the base times the height we need to make that equals to 18 since it’s already given. So 18=1/2 * ((h+1)*6)
Now we distribute
18 = 1/2 (6h + 6)
18 = 3h + 3 (Now we subtract 3 from both sides)
15 = 3h (now we divide both sides by 3)
5 = h
h = 5

Anthony is an executive assistant. He makes $15.85 per hour. If he worked 47.50 hours this week, what is his (a) OT pay? What ab
alexdok [17]

Anthony's OT pay will be $118.875 and his overall pay will be $752.875.

Number of hours Anthony has to work in a week = 5 × 8 = 40 hours.

He worked for = 47.50 hours.

Overtime = 47.50 hours - 40 hours = 7.50 hours

Pay per hour = $15.85 / hour

Overtime pay (OT pay) = $15.85 × 7.50 = $118.875

Overall pay = $15.85 × 47.50 = $752.875

Therefore, Anthony's OT pay is $118.875 and his overall pay is $752.875.
