Newton's law of cooling says that the rate of cooling of an object is proportional to the difference between the temperature of

the object and that of its surroundings (provided the difference is not too large). If T=T(t)T=T(t) represents the temperature of a (warm) object at time tt, AA represents the ambient (cool) temperature, and kk is a negative constant of proportionality, which equation(s) accurately characterize Newton's law?

Answer:

T=T_o+C'e^{-kt}

Explanation:

Newton's law of cooling

Rate of cooling

\dfrac{dT}{dt}\alpha(T-T_o)

Where To is the surrounding temperature

T is object temperature at any time t

now by removing proportionality sign

\dfrac{dT}{dt}=-k(T-T_o)

Now by separating variables

\dfrac{dT}{(T-T_o)}=-k\ dt

\int \dfrac{dT}{(T-T_o)}=-\int k\ dt

So

\ln (T-T_o)=- k\ t +C

Where C is constant

T=T_o+C'e^{-kt}

C' is also a constant and it can be find by using boundary conditions.

sergejj [24]

Answer:

The correct option is b) In galaxy clusters

Explanation:

A type of galaxy that appear elliptical in shape and have an almost featureless and smooth image is known as the elliptical galaxy.

An elliptical galaxy is three dimensional and consists of more than one hundred trillion stars which are present in random orbits around the centre.

Elliptical galaxy is generally found in the galaxy clusters.

Breathing on a cold window can cause it to fog up. which change of state causes this
Dominik [7]
When you breathe on a cold window and it fogs up, that change of state is called: Condensation.

Condensation is: The process in which molecules of a gas slow down, come together, and form a liquid water that collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it.

I know this because I learned it in science class in school.

Hope I helped!

A player cathces a ball. Consider the action force to be the impact of the ball against the players glove. What is the reaction
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Force the glove exerts on the ball

Explanation:

The reaction to this force is the force the glove exerts on the ball.

According to Newton's third ;aw of motion "Action and reaction forces are equal and opposite in direction".

  • The action force is the impact of the ball against the players glove.
  • The reactive force is the force the glove exerts on the ball.

This reactive force is directed in the opposite direction and it is the reason why the motion of the incoming ball is halted.

How does the digestive system interact with the following organ systems (circulatory, muscular and nervous system) to maintain h
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

The circulatory system breaks down food and gets / absorbs nutrients. The muscular system works to get nutrients to the rest of the body. The nervous system basically controls the digestive system and sends information to the brain.

I'm pretty sure I'm right, but please correct me if I'm wrong! :)
