A combination reaction is a reaction in which two or more elements which are the reactants combine together in the reaction to form a single compound, which is the product of the reaction. That is;
A + B → C
Where A and B are the reactants and C is the single product.
An example of a combination reaction is the reaction between hydrogen and chlorine to form hydrogen chloride as follows
In this case, when talk about chemical reaction, in general terms they could be combination, decomposition, single displacement and double displacement, thus, combination chemical reactions are those reactions that have two reactants which combine to yield one single product.
In such a way, the reaction accomplishing the aforesaid description turns out:
A + B → C
Since A and B are the reactants and C the product resulting from the combination.
