This abel belongs in the region marked X because it shows an inversely proportional relationship. The law itself can be stated as follows: For a fixed amount of an ideal gas kept at a fixed temperature, pressure and volume are inversely proportional.

This question is based on Boyle's law and Charles' law.

As per Boyle's law the volume of a given mass of a gas is inversely proportional to the applied pressure at constant temperature. Mathematically it can be written as

                               P\ \alpha \frac{1}{V}     [at constant T and n]

Charles'law: It states that at constant pressure the volume of a given mass of a gas increases or decreases by 1/273 th of its volume at zero degree celsius for every 1 degree centigrade rise or fall of temperature. One may say that volume is directly proportional to temperature. Mathematically it can be written as

                                                    V∝T          [at constant P and n]

Here P,V,T and n stand for pressure, volume, temperature and number of moles respectively.

In the diagram given in the question the point X  is present in the region where Boyle's law is obeyed.Hence the correct option will be the third one which depicts the presence inverse relationship which is true for pressure and volume at constant temperature.

From the formula for Electric Power, P = IV,    P = V²/R

So the 100W compared to the 50W.

From P = IV. From the equation there is a direct relationship between P and I.  More  Power P means more Current, I.

From P = V²/R. From the equation, there is an inverse relationship
between P and R. Therefore  more P means less R.

So from these assertions, the answer is:

(1) less resistance and draws more current

What is a simple harmonic motion?

Simple harmonic motion is defined as the to and fro motion of an object or a particle whose acceleration is directly proportional to its displacement from a fixed point and is always directed towards that point.

Need help transforming one formula to another!
Sindrei [870]

Hello! I don't know if this will help you any but I worked it out, got nothing on it. So, I just had my twin help me and he had nothing either. But, this is just how to find the transformation. Seems like this is already complete to me.

To find the transformation, compare the equation to the parent function and check to see if there is a horizontal or vertical shift, reflection about the x-axis or y-axis, and if there is a vertical stretch.

Parent function : y=√a

Horizontal shift : None

Vertical shift : none

Reflection about the x-axis : none

Vertical stretch : Stretched.

I am so sorry if this doesn't help you but to me, in both my eyes and my brother's eyes, this already looks complete. I hope this helps you out. Again, so sorry if it doesn't.

1.) True or False.
eimsori [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

According to Newton's third law of motion, forces always act in equal but opposite pairs. Another way of saying this is for every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction. This means that when you push on a wall, the wall pushes back on you with a force equal in strength to the force you exerted. 1.True 2.falues 3.true 4. not really sure on this one

A child pulls a wagon with a force F at an angle o with respect to the horizontal. Which of the following free body diagrams is
NeTakaya

Option d) is the correct free body diagram.

Explanation:

A free-body diagram is a diagram that shows all the forces acting on a body. Each force is represented using an arrow, where:

- The length of the arrow is proportional to the magnitude of the force

- The direction of the arrow corresponds to the direction of the force

For the block in this problem, we have the following forces:

- The force F applied from the child, which acts at an angle with respect to the horizontal --> this rules out option a) and c), where the force acts horizontally

- The force of gravity (the weight of the object), labelled with W, which always acts downward --> this rules out option b), since the weight acts downward.

Therefore, the correct option is d).

(in reality, there should be another force: the normal reaction exerted by the floor on the block, N, acting upward).
