Answer:

Amoeba and mouse are two different organisms with different digestion systems. Amoeba is a unicellular organism while mouse is a multicellular organism. The difference in the digestive system of amoeba and mouse is as follows:

 • Digestive system of amoeba is simple and do not have any mouth for ingestion so they ingest from membrane surface while mouse have mouth for ingestion.
 • Amoeba consist of pseudopodia for the movement of food while mouse have specific pathway from mouth to anus for digestion.
 • Food is digested in the food vacuoles in amoeba with the help of Two enzymes amylase and proteinase while food is digested in mouth, stomach and intestine in mouse.
 • Food is egested from anus in mouse while amoeba do not have such specific opening in the body so food is egested from cytoplasmic membrane.

Define what natural gas is, explain how it forms, and
what it is used for today.
natta225 [31]

Answer:

is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon gas mixture consisting primarily of methane, but commonly including varying amounts of other higher alkanes, and sometimes a small percentage of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, or helium.

It is formed when layers of decomposing plant and animal matter are exposed to intense heat and pressure under the surface of the Earth over millions of years. The energy that the plants originally obtained from the sun is stored in the form of chemical bonds in the gas

for heating, cooking, and electricity generation. It is also used as a fuel for vehicles and as a chemical feedstock in the manufacture of plastics and other commercially important organic chemicals.

What is the potential energy of a car with a mass of 1200kg at the top of a 42m high hill?
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

P.E = 493920 j

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass = 1200 kg

height = 42 m

Potential energy = ?

Solution:

Formula:

P.E = mgh

Now we will put the values in formula.

g = 9.8 m/s²

P.E = 1200 Kg × 9.8 m/s²× 42 m

P.E = 493920 Kg.m²/s²

Kg.m²/s² = j

P.E = 493920 j

A ____________--(also called a reductant or reducer) is an element or compound that loses (or "donates") an electron to an elect
gladu [14]

Answer:

A reducing agent is an element or compound that loses (or "donates") an electron to an electron recipient (oxidizing agent) in a redox chemical reaction.

Explanation:

Redox reaction is defined as the reaction in which oxidation and reduction reaction occur simultaneously.

Oxidation reaction is defined as the chemical reaction in which an atom looses its electrons. The oxidation number of the atom gets increased during this reaction.

X\rightarrow X^{n+}+ne^-

Reduction reaction is defined as the chemical reaction in which an atom gains electrons. The oxidation number of the atom gets reduced during this reaction.

X^{n+}+ne^-\rightarrow X

Electrons are transferred from one atom to another in this type of reaction.

Reducing agent is defined as those substance which reduces other chemical compound and oxidizes itself by donating electrons.

Oxidizing agent is defined as those substance which oxidizes other chemical compound and reduces itself by accepting electrons.
