The friction arrow in an FBD for a moving object point is in opposite way to motion. Because friction always works in the opposite direction of the motion of the object.

Answer: Option D

Explanation:

When two object come into contact, the contact force come into play. Now, one component of the contact force i.e. the normal forces act perpendicularly at the direction of motion. Whereas, the frictional forces always acts parallel at the direction of the force acting on the object but in the opposite way.

For example, if we slide a book on the table to the right hand side, the exact equal and opposite frictional force will induce in the opposite direction, tempting to reduce the motion.

Are films just a means of entertainment? Do you think films are instructional in nature? What are the functions of films? what i
boyakko [2]

Answer:

Explanation:

Films are widely popular and their audio visual nature provides them a pervasive power for social influence. Therefore, they have the potential to play an important role as a medium of entertainment, information and education and as a catalyst for social change. Films are popular because they entertain.

Movies are about sitting in a theatre, watching something- watching a story unfold with people you don't know- watching that happen and emoting an emotion knowing that for those two hours or so, when one walks into that theatre, he/she don't have to worry about what is going on outside.

Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

Shake and move your body to release stress and shift your energy. Calm your nervous system with breathing exercises, and learn to settle your mind with meditation.

We recommend that you start with the movement classes and then add the breathing and meditation classes directly after, or as a separate practice later in the day or when needed.

Come back to the classes that you found most helpful. You might feel the difference immediately but aim to practice at least 2 classes a week over 3-4 weeks for the most effective results.

An object moves with a speed of 30 km/h for 15 minutes and then with a speed of 60km/h for the next 15 minutes. Find the total d
Finger [1]

Answer:

Total distance = 22.5 kilometers

Explanation:

Let the first distance be A.

Let the second distance be B

Given the following data;

Speed A = 30km/h

Time A = 15 minutes to hours = 15/60 = 0.25 hour

Speed B = 60km/h

Time B = 15 minutes to hours = 15/60 = 0.25 hour

Now, to find the respective distance traveled;

Distance A = speed A * time A

Distance A = 30 * 0.25

Distance A = 7.5 km

Distance B = speed B * time B

Distance B = 60 * 0.25

Distance B = 15 km

Next, we calculate the total distance traveled;

Total distance = Distance A + distance B

Total distance = 7.5 + 15

Total distance = 22.5 kilometers.

Therefore, the total distance covered by the object is 22.5 kilometers.
