it's the same thing

slope =  \frac{Δy}{Δx} or  \frac{change \: in \: y}{change \: in \: x}  =  \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}  =  \frac{rise}{run}

asambeis [7]

Answer:

  It compares 3 meals to 1 day.

Step-by-step explanation:

"Unit rate" refers to a rate that has 1 unit in the denominator.

  (3 meals)/(1 day) . . . . "three meals per day"

has one unit (1 day) in the denominator, so that is a unit rate.

On a coordinate plane, a line is drawn between points (negative 4, negative 3) and (negative 1, 4).
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

StartRoot 58 EndRoot

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the coordinates (-4, -3) and (-1, 4)

To get the distance between the two points, we will use the formula:

D =√(y2-y1)²+(x2-x1)²

From the coordinates, x1 = -4, y1 = -3, x2 = -1 and y2 = 4

Substitute

D =√(4-(-3))²+(-1-(-4))²

D = √(4+3)²+(-1+4)²

D = √7²+3²

D = √49+9

D = √58

Hence the correct option is D

StartRoot 58 EndRoot

What property does the statement show? (4x8)x3=(8x4)x3
8090 [49]
Why not? Because every math system you've ever worked with has obeyed these properties! You have never dealt with a system where a×b did not in fact equal b×a, for instance, or where (a×b)×c did not equal a×(b×c). Which is why the properties probably seem somewhat pointless to you. Don't worry about their "relevance" for now; just make sure you can keep the properties straight so you can pass the next test. The lesson below explains how I kept track of the properties.
