Since there is constant pressure, you can use Charles's Law:

V1/T1 = V2/T2

10L/280K = 20L/T

0.0357 = 20/ T

T = 20/0.0357

T = 560K which is the new temperature

What is the approximate terminal velocity of a sky diver before the parachute opens
anzhelika [568]

Answer:

The approximate terminal velocity of a sky diver before the parachute opens is 320 km/h.

Explanation:

  • The terminal velocity is the maximum magnitude of velocity that is attained by the diver when he or she falls in the air.
  • The terminal velocity of the person diving in air before opening parachute is 320 km/h that means the velocity when the person is experiencing free fall is 320 km/h.
  • During terminal velocity, we can represent mathematical equation as;

                           Buoyancy force + drag force = Gravity

A light ray travels in the +x direction and strikes a slanted surface with an angle of 62° between its normal and the ty axis. T
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

- 0.6

Explanation:

Given that angle between normal y axis is 62° so angle between normal

and x axis will be 90- 62 = 28 °. Since incident ray is along x axis , 28 ° will be the angle between incident ray and normal ie it will be angle of incidence

Angle of incidence = 28 °

angle of reflection = 28°

Angle between incident ray and reflected ray = 28 + 28 = 56 °

Angle between x axis and reflected ray = 56 °

x component of reflected ray

= - cos 56 ( it will be towards - ve x axis. )

How did scientists discover the Earth had a liquid outer core and solid inner core?
viktelen [127]
Dr. Inge discovered the make up of the earths inner core by studying how an earthquakes waves bounced off the core. And Inge Lehmann was studying the waves of a 1929 earthquake when she found them acting inconsistently with solid mantle crust

A dragster starts from rest and travels 1/4 mi in 6.80 s with constant acceleration. What is its velocity when it crosses the fi
Ahat [919]

Its velocity when it crosses the finish line is 117.65 m/s

Explanation:

We have equation of motion s = ut + 0.5 at²

        Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s

        Acceleration, a = ?

        Time, t = 6.8 s

        Displacement, s = 1/4 mi =    400 meters

     Substituting

                      s = ut + 0.5 at²

                      400 = 0 x 6.8 + 0.5 x a x 6.8²

                      a = 17.30 m/s²

Now we have equation of motion v = u + at

     Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s

     Final velocity, v = ?

     Time, t = 6.8 s

      Acceleration, a = 17.30 m/s²

     Substituting

                      v = u + at

                      v = 0 + 17.30 x 6.8

                      v = 117.65 m/s

Its velocity when it crosses the finish line is 117.65 m/s
