What is the force per meter on a lightning bolt at the equator that carries 20,000 A perpendicular to Earth’s 3.0e−5 T field? (b

To solve this problem it is necessary to apply the concepts related to Magnetic Force.

The magnetic force as magnitude of a vector is described by

F= IlBsin\theta

Where,

\theta = Angle between the wire and the magnetic field

L = Length

B = Magnetic Field

I = Current

Since the lightning bolt is perpendicular to the earth then the angle is 90°, moreover we need find the force per meter, then

\frac{F}{l} = IBsin\theta

Replacing with our values

\frac{F}{l} = (20000)(3*10^{-5})sin(90)

\frac{F}{l} = 0.6N/m

Therefore the force per meter on lightning volt is 0.6N/m

A projectile is fired at an upward angle of 29.7° from the top of a 108-m-high cliff with a speed of 130-m/s. What will be its
german

Answer:

79.2 m/s

Explanation:

θ = angle at which projectile is launched = 29.7 deg

a = initial speed of launch = 130 m/s

Consider the motion along the vertical direction

v₀ = initial velocity along the vertical direction = a Sinθ = 130 Sin29.7 = 64.4 m/s

y = vertical displacement = - 108 m

a = acceleration = - 9.8 m/s²

v = final speed as it strikes the ground

Using the kinematics equation

v² = v₀² + 2 a y

v² = 64.4² + 2 (-9.8) (-108)

v = 79.2 m/s

The phosphorus cycle is the biogeochemical cycle that describes the movement of phosphorus through the lithosphere,
ludmilkaskok [199]

A

most common source of phosphates in the soil is the weathering of the mineral apatite.

Explanation:

Apatite is a group of phosphate minerals like hydroxylapatite, fluorapatite, and chlorapatite. When apatite rocks weather, they release the phosphate minerals mainly in the form of PO₄ ³⁻ . These minerals become dissolved in water (hydrosphere), where they are readily available to plants and other organisms in the biosphere. The phosphates are taken up and used in biosynthesis. When these organisms die and become buried with sediments, the phosphate gets back to the lithosphere as sedimentary rock.
