Please help: How do oxidation reactions help people with diabetes monitor their blood glucose levels? Thank you!!!
solong [7]

Answer:-

People with diabetes must monitor their blood glucose levels constantly.

Blood glucose levels are nowadays measured by the help of enzyme glucose oxidase. The enzyme glucose oxidase catalyzes the oxidation of glucose to gluconic acid.

By this way all of the glucose is measured at one time. At the same time hydrogen peroxide is produced.

The hydrogen peroxide reacts with a second color producing chemical. The concentration of the glucose can be related to the intensity of color produced

What are two ways carbon returns from animal into the water
soldi70 [24.7K]
Split and merge into it. While they are alive, carbon returns from animals into water through waste products from respiration and defecation/urination. Another way when they are dead is from decaying remains. While they are alive, carbon returns from animals into water through waste products from respiration and defecation/urination.

Calculate the number of liters in 3.25 g of ammonia
il63 [147K]

The liters in 3.25 g of ammonia 4.28 L

  calculation

Step 1: find moles of ammonia

moles = mass÷ molar  mass

From periodic table the molar mass of ammonia (NH₃) = 14 +(1×3 ) = 17 g/mol

3.25 g÷ 17 g/mol = 0.191 moles

Step 2: find the number of liters of ammonia

that is at STP 1 moles = 22.4 L

                        0.191 moles = ? L

by cross multiplication

={( 0.191 moles ×22.4 L) / 1 mole} = 4.28 L
