The vesicles release neurotransmitters. These cross the synapse and are accepted by the receptors in the dendrites of the next neuron.

Explanation:

An axon, or nerve fiber, is a long slender projection of a nerve cell, or neuron, that conducts electrical impulses away from the neuron's cell body. Axons are in effect the primary transmission lines of the nervous system, and as bundles they help make up nerves.

When an action potential reaches the axon terminal, it depolarizes the membrane and opens voltage-gated Na+ channels. Na+ ions enter the cell, further depolarizing the presynaptic membrane.

5 points !!!is potential chemical energy always transformed into kinetic
Arada [10]

Potential energy is energy stored in an object due to its position or arrangement. Kinetic energy is energy of an object due to its movement - its motion. All types of energy can be transformed into other types of energy.

A rectangular block floats in pure water with 0.400 in. above the surface and 1.60 in. below the surface. When placed in an aque
labwork [276]

Answer:

specific gravity = 0.8

specific gravity of solution = 2

Explanation:

given data

rectangular block above water = 0.400 in

rectangular block below water = 1.60 in

material floats below water = 0.800 in

solution

first we get here specific gravity of block that is

specific gravity = block vol below ÷ total block vol × specific gravity water ..............1

put here value we get

specific gravity = \frac{1.60}{1.60+0.400} × 1

specific gravity = 0.8

and now we get here specific gravity of solution that is express as

specific gravity of solution = total block vol ÷ block vol below × specific gravity block ........................2

put here value we get

specific gravity of solution = \frac{1.60+0.400}{0.800} × 0.8

specific gravity of solution = 2

⇒Answer:

In the standing broad jump, one squats and then pushes off with the legs to see how far one can jump. Suppose the extension of the legs from the crouch position is 0.600 m and the acceleration achieved from this position is 1.25 times the acceleration due to gravity, g . How far can they jump? State your assumptions. (Increased range can be achieved by swinging the arms in the direction of the jump.)

Step-by-Step Solution:

Solution 35PE

This question discusses about the increased range. So, we shall assume that the angle of jumping will be as the horizontal range is maximum at this angle.

Step 1 of 3<

/p>

The legs have an extension of 0.600 m in the crouch position.

So, m

The person is at rest initially, so the initial velocity will be zero.

The acceleration is m/s2

Acceleration m/s2

Let the final velocity be .

Step 2 of 3<

/p>

Substitute the above given values in the kinematic equation ,

m/s

Therefore, the final velocity or jumping speed is m/s

The length of the minute hand of the clock is 14cm. Calculate the speed with which the tip of the minute hand moves
Molodets [167]

Speed of the tip of the minute hand=V=0.0244 cm/s

Explanation:

The angular velocity of the minute hand is given by

\omega= \frac{2\pi}{T}

T= time period of the minute hand=60 min=3600 s

so ω= 2 π/3600 rad/s

Now linear velocity v= r ω

r= radius of minute hand=14 cm

so v= 14 (2 π/3600)

V=0.0244 cm/s
