Assuming a parabolic movement we have to,

h (t) = h + vt+ \frac{at^2}{2}

Gravity is equivalent to 32.2ft / s ^ 2

So,

a) h (t) = 94 + 242t - 0.5 (32.2) t ^ 2

b) h_max would be the vertex of the parabola

t_{max} = -\frac{b}{2a} = -242 / (- 32.2) = 7.5155 sec

**Here a=g/2

h_{max} = h (7.5155) = 94 + 242 (7.515) - (0.5) (32.2) * (7.5) ^ 2 = 1003.38 ft

c) h (t) = 419 = 94 + 242t - 0.5 (32.2) t ^ 2

Solve for t using quadratic formula:

1.49 s <= t <= 13.54 s

d) Solve for t: h (t) = 94 + 242t - 0.5 (32.2) t ^ 2 = 0

t = 15.4099 s

Let σa, σb, σc, and σd be the respective surface charge densities on surfaces A, B, C, and D. Take all the charge densities to b
aniked [119]

Answer:

a) σa−σb−σc−σd=0

Explanation:

The parallel plate capacitor is the one in which two metal plates are connected in parallel with some distancing among them. The electric field from both plates is denoted by E = σ / 2ϵ0. The σ is the charge density. The Electric field in plate I will vanish when the surface charge of σa is positive and rest of the charges are negative. The correct option is a.

What is the speed acquired by a freely falling object 4 seconds after being dropped from a rest position? Use units of meter per
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

speed = 40 m/s

Explanation:

Since the object is dropped, V0y = 0.

Vy = V0y - gt

= -(10 m/s^2)(4 s)

= -40 m/s

This means that its velocity is 40 m/s downwards. Its speed is simply 40 m/s.
