Proteins destined for extracellular release are packaged in specific vesicles. After packaging, the vesicles bud off and are sto

red in the cell until a signal is given for their release. When the appropriate signal is received they move towards the membrane and fuse to release their contents.Once proteins have been produced at the ribosomes, what two organelles work together to aid in the secretion process described above? A) ribosome and ER B) Golgi apparatus and rough ER C) Golgi apparatus and lysosome D) mitochondria and rough endoplasmic reticulum

Answer:

gogi apparatus and the rough endoplasmic reticulum

Explanation:

After the synthesis of proteins in their various site of production, thses proteins needs to be packaged into vessicle for transport to their destination. Vesicles that bud off from the Endoplasmic reticulum will then fuse with the nearest Golgi apparatus membranes, the cis-Golgi. these vessicles continue to travel using vesicle transport through the Golgi apparatus until they reach the end of the golgi appartus budding off — called the trans-Golgi. they are then transported to wherever they are either - the lysosomes, the plasma membrane etc.

What is the purpose of the uninoculated control tubes used in the oxidation fermentation test? why is it necessary to use two co
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

1. The purpose of the uninoculated control tubes used in the oxidation fermentation test is to serve as basis of the medium for the color comparison and that it is sterile.

2. It is necessary to use two controls in order to illustrate the no color change (green color) under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

3. The purpose of the experiment is to determine if the organisms utilize the carbohydrate and thus is fermentative. This will result in a color change from green to yellow.

Thus, the medium in one tube is sealed with a layer of paraffin to prevent diffusion of oxygen. This tube will show that the medium is unaffected by the lack of oxygen.

The second tube will allow the diffusion of oxygen. This tube will show that the medium does not change color naturally in the presence of oxygen. Thus, the color changes will be caused only by the fermentation process of the organisms.

What are general reference maps?

Road maps and historical maps are general reference maps as it shows the physical (natural and man-made) features in an area and can use different colours to differentiate different rods and locations.

Early formed maps or historical maps are general reference maps as it can represent the discovery of a landscape briefly.

Thus option "C" is correct.
