Higher political efficacy tend to increase the voter intensity, and vice versa.

Explanation:

Political efficacy measure how much faith people put in their government and how much they believe that their participation can influence the situation in the government.

When people have faith in the government and believe that they have a strong role to play in it, they become much more likely to go out and participate in the election process, resulting in high voter intensity.
