Suppose you increase your walking speed from 6 m/s to 13 m/s in a period of 1 s. What is your acceleration? m/s2
ziro4ka [17]
Average acceleration is
Change in Velocity/change in time
So you could then do Vf-Vi/Tf-Ti
Which would look like 13m/s-6m/s / 1s-0s
Which then is 7m/s/1s which means the acceleration is 7m/s^2

Help with this question please.
mr Goodwill [35]

There are 4 hydrogens on the right side (2\mathrm H_2=4\mathrm H), and 2 hydrogens on the left per molecule of \mathrm H_2. To get the same number of hydrogens on both sides, the coefficient should be 2.

(Then the number of oxygens will be consistent, since 2\mathrm H_2\mathrm O contributes 2 oxygens, and so does \mathrm O_2.)

Biotic factors are the blank and blank part of the ecosystem
True [87]

Abiotic factors are the nonliving physical and chemical components of an ecosystem, while biotic factors are the living components of an ecosystem. Both types of factors affect reproduction and survival

Can a particle with constant speed be accelarating?<br>what if it has constant velocity?
Olin [163]

Explanation:

it can be safely concluded that an object moving in a circle at constant speed is indeed accelerating. It is accelerating because the direction of the velocity vector is changing.

When an object is moving with constant velocity, it does not change direction nor speed and therefore is represented as a straight line when graphed as distance over time.

The gravitational force between the charged constituents of the atom is negligible compared with the electric force between them
katrin2010 [14]

Answer: The initial force is reduced a factor 1/4 when the separation between charge is doubled

Explanation: As it well known the electric force between two charges is given by:

Finitial=k*q1*q2/d^2 where d is the distance between charges and k is a constant

if the distance is doubled this means 2*dinitial thus the new force is equal to F initial* 1/4
