by momentum conservation we can say

P_i = P_f

since gun and bullet was initially at rest so initial momentum of both must be ZERO

0 = m_1v_{1f} + m_2v_{2f}

0 = 3* 10^{-3}* 3000 + 1 * v_{2f}

0 = 9 + v_{2f}

v_{2f} = - 9 m/s

so it will recoil back with speed 9 m/s

How could you demomstrate a complete and incomplete loop in an electrical circut
shutvik [7]

Answer:

A complete circuit is a complete loop with electricity flowing the way it's supposed to flow: from the battery, to the component, and back to the battery again. An open circuit is an incomplete loop, where the loop is broken at a particular point and electricity can't flow at all

Explanation:

So, you can show one with how the electricity flows right through and then how the loop is broken so the electricity wont really flow.

Calculate the kinetic energy in joules of a 1500 kg automobile moving at 17 m/s . express your answer to two significant figures
Sidana [21]
Kinetic energy = 1/2 (mass)*(velocity)^2

ke = 1/2 (1500kg) (17m/s)^2
ke = 216750 kg*m^2/s^2 = 216750 Joules

(sorry, I don't know significant figures. but this is otherwise the correct answer with the right units. hope this helps!! :))

Which of the following is an effect of the electric force?
stich3 [128]

As we know that two charges exert force on each other when they are placed near to each other

The force between two charges is given as

F = \frac{kq_1q_2}{r^2}

here we know that

q_1, q_2 = two different point charges

r = distance between two point charges

also we know that two similar charges always repel each other while two opposite charges always attract each other

so here correct answer would be

A. A positive and negative charge attract each other.
