by momentum conservation we can say

P_i = P_f

since gun and bullet was initially at rest so initial momentum of both must be ZERO

0 = m_1v_{1f} + m_2v_{2f}

0 = 3* 10^{-3}* 3000 + 1 * v_{2f}

0 = 9 + v_{2f}

v_{2f} = - 9 m/s

<em>so it will recoil back with speed 9 m/s</em>

A diver 40 m deep in 10 degrees C fresh water exhales a 1.5 cm diameter bubble.
zzz [600]

Answer:

0.0257259766982 m

Explanation:

P_2 = Atmospheric pressure = 101325 Pa

d_1 = Initial diameter = 1.5 cm

d_2 = Final diameter

\rho = Density of water = 1000 kg/m³

h = Depth = 40 m

The pressure is

P_1=P_2+\rho gh\\\Rightarrow P_1=101325+1000\times 9.81\times 40\\\Rightarrow P_1=493725\ Pa

From ideal gas law we have

\dfrac{P_1V_1}{T_1}=\dfrac{P_2V_2}{T_2}\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{P_1\dfrac{4}{3\times8}\pi d_1^3}{T_1}=\dfrac{P_2\dfrac{4}{3\times8}\pi d_2^3}{T_2}\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{P_1d_1^3}{T_1}=\dfrac{P_2d_2^3}{T_2}\\\Rightarrow d_2=(\dfrac{P_1d_1^3T_2}{P_2T_1})^{\dfrac{1}{3}}\\\Rightarrow d_2=(\dfrac{493725\times 0.015^3\times (20+273.15)}{101325\times (10+273.15)})^{\dfrac{1}{3}}\\\Rightarrow d_2=0.0257259766982\ m

The diameter of the bubble is 0.0257259766982 m

An automobile with tires that have a radius of 0.260 m travels 76000 km before wearing them out. How many revolutions do the tir
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

circumference of the tyre = 2πr = 2 x 3.14 x 0.26 = 1.6328m

76000km = 76000000m

no of revolutions required

= 76000000/1.6328 = 46546 revolutions.

Why freezer is made in the upper part of refrigrator
svp [43]
<h2>Question</h2>

why freezer is made in the upper part of refrigrator

<h2>✒ Answer</h2>

the cold air produced from it is denser than the warmer air in the bottom

<h3>Explaination</h3>

Freezer is normally provided at the top of the refrigerator, because density of the cold air is high compared to the hot air. In a refrigerator the air contacts with the cooling coil and gets cooling.Because of the high density the cold air gets down and the warm air/hot air moves upward and gets cooling from the cooling coil/evaporator coil. This process is repeated. If the Freezer is provided at the bottom place of the refrigerator, the cold air can't to move full area of the refrigerator. So the freezer is normally provided at the top at the refrigerator
