The final temperature is 28 °C.

There are two heat transfers involved.

heat from combustion of propane + heat gained by water = 0

<em>q</em>_1 + <em>q</em>_2 = 0

<em>q</em>_1+ <em>C</em>_calΔ<em>T</em> = 0

<em>q</em>_1 = -50 kJ

<em>q</em>_2 = 6.00 kJ·°C^(-1)  × Δ<em>T</em> = 6.00 Δ<em>T</em> kJ·°C^(-1)

<em>q</em>_1 +<em> q</em>_2 = -50 kJ + 6.00 Δ<em>T</em> kJ·°C^(-1) = 0

Δ<em>T</em> = 50/[6.00 °C^(-1)] = 8.33 °C

<em>T</em>_f = <em>T</em>_i + Δ<em>T</em> = 20 °C + 8.33 °C = 28 °C

After mitosis, you have 2 cells that are the same as the parent cell. Why is it that your first cell was not the same as your pa
ladessa [460]

Answer:

During MITOSIS, the parent, diploid (2n), cell is divided to create two identical, diploid (2n), daughter cells. ... After cytokinesis, the ploidy of the daughter cells remains the same because each daughter cell contains 4 chromatids, as the parent cell did.

How would planting a variety of plants in a vacant (empty) lot help establish an ecosystem in that location?
vichka [17]

the plants would grow  and reproduce working together forming nutrients from their dropped  leaves / branches etc causing insects to come along and do the same  along with animals and a keystone species to form a revolving ecosystem continuing an energy moving process

HELP PLSSSSS!!
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]

Answer:

68133080.02 g

Explanation:

I believe that the question is to find the mass of air in the room and not the molar mass of air since the molar mass of air was already given in the question as 28.97 g/mol.

Now, if 1 mole of a gas occupies 22.4 L

x moles of air occupies 52,681,428.8 Liters

x = 1 * 52,681,428.8 /22.4

x = 2351849.5 moles of air

Now, number of moles = mass/ molar mass

but molar mass = 28.97 g/mol

2351849.5 = mass/28.97

mass = 2351849.5 * 28.97

mass = 68133080.02 g

A student wants to make a 0.600 M aqueous solution of barium sulfate, BaSO4, and has a bottle containing 12.00 g of barium sulfa
love history [14]

<u>Answer: </u>The volume of the solution is 85.7 mL

<u>Explanation:</u>

Molarity is defined as the amount of solute expressed in the number of moles present per liter of solution. The units of molarity are mol/L. The formula used to calculate molarity:

\text{Molarity of solution}=\frac{\text{Given mass of solute}\times 1000}{\text{Molar mass of solute}\times \text{Volume of solution (mL)}} .....(1)

We are given:

Molarity of solution = 0.600 M

Given mass of BaSO_4 = 12.00 g

We know, molar mass of BaSO_4=[(1\times 137.33)+(1\times 32.07)+(4\times 16)]=233.4g/mol

Putting values in equation 1, we get:

0.600=\frac{12.00\times 1000}{233.4\times \text{Volume of solution}}\\\\\text{Volume of solution}=\frac{12.00\times 1000}{233.4\times 0.600}=85.68mL=85.7mL

The rule of significant number that is applied for the problems having multiplication and division:

The least number of significant figures in any number of the problem determines the number of significant figures in the answer.

Here, the least number of significant figures is 3 that is determined by the number, 0.600. Thus, the answer must have these many significant figures only.

Hence, the volume of the solution is 85.7 mL
