Answer:

A. Known variables include

Wavelength = 600nm

Theta= 65°

m= 2

B.

d= m x wavelength / sin theta

= 2 * 600*10^-9 /sin 65°

= 1.3*10^-6m

C.

N = 1/d

So N = 1/1.3*10^-6m

=76.9 lines per micro meter

TEA [102]
When you're using a crowbar to lift a large rock, you are working against the force called

\boxed {\bf Gravity}

\bf Explanation:
Gravity on Earth is what gives weight to all objects, it's defined as all things that have mass or energy are gravitated towards each other. Therefore when you're using a crowbar to lift a large rock, the weight is caused by gravity.

What is the atmospheric pressure and temperature at sea level in a standard<br> atmosphere?
Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer:

The tropospheric tabulation continues to 11,000 meters (36,089 ft), where the temperature has fallen to −56.5 °C (−69.7 °F), the pressure to 22,632 pascals (3.2825 psi), and the density to 0.3639 kilograms per cubic meter (0.02272 lb/cu ft). Between 11 km and 20 km, the temperature remains constant

Ksivusya [100]

The situation (heat going through the ceiling) describes
conduction ...
heat going from one place to another by
soaking through some material.

A).  This is the one.  Heat goes from from the marshmallow
to your hand by soaking through the wire.   This is conduction too.

B).  No.  The heat in the room goes from the floor to the ceiling
because the warm air rises and carries it there.  This is convection.

C).  No.  There's nothing for the heat to soak through between
the sun and the roof, and nothing that can move from the sun
to the roof and bring the heat with it.  This is radiation.

D).  No.  Cold water sinks from the surface to the bottom because
warm water rose from the bottom to the surface, taking heat with it.
This is convection.

A 52.0-kg sandbag falls off a rooftop that is 22.0 m above the ground. The collision between the sandbag and the ground lasts fo
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

F = 7,916,955.0N

Explanation:

According to newtons second law

Force = mass * acceleration

Given

mass = 52.0kg

distance S = 22.0m

time t = 17.0 ms = 0.017s

We need to get the acceleration first using the formula;

S = ut+ 1/2at²

22 = 0 + 1/2 a(0.017²)

22 = 0.0001445a

a = 22/0.0001445

a = 152,249.13m/s²

The magnitude of the average force exerted will be;

F = ma

F = 52 * 152,249.13

F = 7,916,955.0N
