Answer&Explanation:

Since dimensional formula is the way of expressing physical quantity in terms of it's dimension;

Mass per unit area will be,,

Mass=M

Area=L×L=L²

Therefore dimensional formula is=ML^-2 and not M/L²

given the data 11.4, 11.3, 11.2 and 11.1 cm determine the average and its standard deviation using equation
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

Average  \bar{x} = 11.25 cm

standard deviation = 0.129 cm

Explanation:

The data provided in the question is:

x₁ = 11.4 cm

x₂ = 11.3 cm

x₃ = 11.2 cm

x₄ = 11.1 cm

total number of data points, N = 4

Now, the average is calculated as:

Average \bar{x} = \frac{sum\ of\ all\ the\ data\ points }{number\ of\ data\ points}

substituting the values in the above formula we get,

Average  \bar{x} = \frac{11.4cm+11.3cm+11.2cm+11.1cm }{4}

Average  \bar{x} = 11.25 cm

Now the standard deviation is calculated as:

standard deviation = \sqrt\frac{\sum_{i=1}^{4} \left(x_i - \bar x \right )^2}{N-1}

substituting the values in the above equation we get,

standard deviation = \sqrt\frac{\left(11.4 - 11.25 \right )^2 + \left(11.3 - 11.25 \right )^2 + \left(11.2 - 11.25 \right )^2 + \left(11.1 - 11.25 \right )^2}{3}

or

standard deviation = 0.129 cm

Calculate the average induced voltage between the tips of the wings of a Boeing 747 flying at 940 km/hr above East Lansing. The
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

option (b)

Explanation:

B = 0.7 x 10^-4 T

v = 940 km/h = 940 x 5 / 18 = 261.11 m /s

l = 60 m

Th emotional emf is given by

e = B v l

e = 0.7 x 10^-4 x 261.11 x 60 = 1.096 V

e = 1.1 V

the distance between the sun and earth is about 1.5*10^11m. express this distance with an SI prefix and in kilometer
Tpy6a [65]
In scientific notation, if the exponent of 10 is positive, the number is very very large. In the metric system, very large numbers are expressed in megameters (Mm) or gigameters (Gm). Gigameters is equal to 10⁹ meters. So, in SI prefix, that would be equal to 150 Gm. In kilometers, that would be equal to:

1.5×10¹¹ m * (1 km/1000 m) = 1.5×10⁸ km

Two planets have the same surface gravity, but planet b has twice the radius of planet
nevsk [136]
The formula for the acceleration due to gravity is:

a = Gm/r²
where
G is the universal gravitational constant = 6.6726 x 10⁻¹¹ N-m²/kg²
m is the mass of planet
r is the radius of planet

So, if they have the same a:

m₁/r₁² = m₂/r₂²
So, if m₁ = m and r₂ = 2r₁,
m/r₁² = m₂/(2r₁)²
m₂ = 4m

<em>Thus, the answer is D.</em>

What current flows through a bulb if 360 C of charge moves through<br>a bulb in 20 minutes?<br>
Nina [5.8K]

Answer: A current of 1 A is flowing in a circuit if a charge of 1 coulomb passes any point in the circuit every second.

1 Amp = 1 Coulomb per second

We can write this formula as:

Current (I) = Charge (Q) / Time (t)

Charge (Q) = Current (I) x Time (t)
