Answer:

The correct answer would be B. Their phosphate group gives them a hydrophilic end.

The phosphate group in phospholipid is responsible for the amphiphilic nature of the phospholipid bilayer.

The phosphate group forms the hydrophilic end whereas the lipid chain forms the hydrophobic end.

The hydrophilic end enables the plasma membrane to interact with the substances inside and outside the cell.

It also provides the cell membrane its semi-permeable nature.

It provides stability to the membrane proteins present in the plasma membrane.

Yes it is B!

Phosphate group gives them a hydrophilic end! This allows for the molecules to form a semi permeable membrane

A natural charge by an atom is caused by which of the following conditions?
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

Explanation:

I'm assuming that you meant to type neutral charge.

Since electrons are negative and protons are positive, having a balanced number of both of these would cause an atom to have a neutral charge.

They diffuse through small pores at the bottom of the leaf called stomata.

Plants can open and close their stomata, they open them to get water and carbon dioxide in but then close them to ensure the water doesn't 'leak' back out. This is important for plants growing in drier conditions like the cactus.
