PLEASE HELP ME!

Physics

Answer: If the car were to abruptly stop and the seat belts were not being worn, then the passengers in motion would continue in motion. Assuming a negligible amount of friction between the passengers and the seats, the passengers would likely be propelled from the car and be hurled into the air. Once they leave the car, the passengers becomes projectiles and continue in projectile-like motion.

Hope this is helpful!!! :)

Coherent light of wavelength 540 nm passes through a pair of thin slits that are 3.4 × 10-5 m apart. At what angle away from the
Scrat [10]

Answer: 1.8\°

Explanation:

The diffraction angles \theta_{n} when we have a slit divided into n parts are obtained by the following equation:

dsin\theta_{n}=n\lambda (1)

Where:

d=3.4(10)^{-5}m is the width of the slit

\lambda=540 nm=540(10)^{-9}m is the wavelength of the light

n is an integer different from zero.

Now, the second-order diffraction angle is given when n=2, hence equation (1) becomes:

dsin\theta_{2}=2\lambda (2)

Now we have to find the value of \theta_{2}:

sin\theta_{2}=\frac{2\lambda}{d} (3)

Then:

\theta_{2}=arcsin(\frac{2\lambda}{d})   (4)

\theta_{2}=arcsin(\frac{2(540(10)^{-9}m)}{3.4(10)^{-5}m})   (5)

Finally:

\theta_{2}=1.8\°   (6)

How much work is done when a 214 newton force pushes a sleeping cow 37m across a field.
nata0808 [166]
Hello!

Answer:
7918 J

Explanation:

We are assuming that the floor (field) is completely horizontal since there's no information about that in the statement.

We are going to use the following formula:

W= F . Cos \alpha . D

Where:

F=214 N
\alpha =0º
D= 37m

Then, by substituting we have:

W=214N . Cos (0).37m= 7918 N.m=7918 J

Stels [109]

Option e is true. The total energy is the sum of all the energies present in the system. The potential energy in a system is due to its position in the system.

<h3>What is the law of conservation of energy?</h3>

According to the Law of conservation of energy. Although energy cannot be generated or destroyed, it may be transferred from one form to another.

The following statements are true;

a)All of its energy must be potential energy before it falls.

b)At the conclusion of its fall, all of its energy must be transformed to kinetic energy.

c)During its fall, the sum of its kinetic and potential energy must match the initial quantity of potential energy.

d)Total energy = Kinetic Energy + Potential Energy.

Hence, option e is correct.
