Centripetal force of satellite = gravitational force between earth and the satellite
(m•v^2)/r = (G•Me•m)/r^2
v^2 = (G•Me)/r
v^2 = 6.67x10^-11 x 5.598x10^24 / 7.5x10^7
v = 2231 m/s

so answer is B

Which rope would have the longest wavelength-one with a frequency of 2 hz or one with a frequency of 3 hz?
Elis [28]
The frequency f is related to the wavelength \lambda by the equation
\lambda =  \frac{v}{f}
where v is the speed of the wave in the rope.

We can see from the formula that, if v is kept constant, smaller frequency means larger wavelength. So, the rope with frequency 2 Hz will have the longest wavelength.

A concept is the general idea of objects, events, animals, or people based on common features, traits, or characteristics.
salantis [7]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Science can be defined as a branch of intellectual and practical study which systematically observe a body of fact in relation to the structure and behavior of non-living and living organisms (animals, plants and humans) in the natural world through experiments.

A concept is the general idea of objects, events, animals, or people based on common features, traits, or characteristics. It is typically considered to be an abstract idea or general notion that is formed by the mental combination of all the characteristics pertaining to the idea.

Generally, concepts are used in the problem-solving process as it serves as a benchmark or yardstick for the solutions. Some examples of concepts in physics are conservation of energy and momentum, electromagnetic waves, heat, motion and forces, electricity and magnetism, gravity, etc.

Using software, a simulation of a javelin being thrown both on Earth and on the moon is created. In both cases, the velocity and
SSSSS [86.1K]
Since the gravity at the moon is around 6 times weaker, we have that the downwards pull is around 6 times smaller. In equations, we have that g of the moon=g of Earth/6 and since the weight is F=m*g, the force is 1/6th of the force on earth. Hence, the distance is going to be around 6 times larger than the distance traversed on Earth and thus the correct relation is A=6y.

Why is it important to study solar flares?
andre [41]

In my opinion, solar flares are really cool to learn about because they are created by radiation from the sun and sun spots. Since solar flares happen in atmosphere, scientists learn about them and classify them in an interesting way. They do it by there strength so there are many different types. They are also many different colors you can find to. Hope this helped.
