What is the relationship between the frequency and wavelength of a wave

Their PRODUCT is always the same number. It's the speed of the wave. So if one of them increases by some factor, the other one must immediately DEcrease by the same factor, in order to keep the product constant.

I believe that the relationship between the frequency (the number of wave crests that pass by a certain point in a given amount of time) and wavelength for electromagnetic waves is defined by the formula, c = λ f, where c is the speed of light, λ the wavelength in meters, and f equals the frequency in cycles per second.    Hope this Helps !!!!!
