Answer:

Explanation:

it is a vector as it has a magnitude and a direction. If it was a scalar quantity it would just have a magnitude and would be 45 m. Acceleration is an example of a vector quantity

A loaded barge has a mass of 1 500 000 kg and is traveling at 3 m/s. If a tugboat applies an opposing force of 12 000 N for 10 s
yan [13]

Answer:

Explanation:

Initial momentum is 1.5e6(3) = 4.5e6 kg•m/s

An impulse results in a change of momentum

The tug applied impulse is 12000(10) = 120000 N•s or 0.12e6 kg•m/s

The remaining momentum is 4.5e6 - 0.12e6 = 4.38e6 kg•m/s

The barge velocity is now 4.38e6 / 1.5e6 = 2.92 m/s

The tug applies 0.012e6 N•s of impulse each second.

The initial barge momentum will be zero in

t = 4.5e6 / 0.012e6 = 375 s or 6 minutes and 15 seconds

To stop the barge in one minute(60 s), the tug would have to apply

4.5e6 / 60 = 75000 N•s /s or 75 000 N

In addition to average weather conditions, climatological data also describes annual variations and fluctuations of temperature,
drek231 [11]

Answer:

In addition to average weather conditions, climatological data also describes annual variations and fluctuations of temperature, precipitation, wind speed and other variables.

Explanation:

A lot many observations are made all around the world regarding the weather each day. These observations and analysis are done by humans as well as automated instruments. The weather data is collected each day all year and any inaccuracies and discrepancies are checked and rectified. The results are later then presented as the climate data. There are various factors that are taken into consideration while determining the climate of a region. Apart from the factors that are already mentioned, wind speed is also one of the other variables.

Một đoạn mạch gồm R1=8 ôm;R2=12 ôm.biết R1 nối tiếp với đoạn mạch gồm R2 song song với R3; R3=1/2 R2 cường độ dòng điện chạy qua
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

Explanation:

a.

b. R3= 1/2R2=6 ôm

R12= R1+R2=20 ôm

Rtđ=R12.R3/R12+R3= 4,62 ôm

c. U= I.Rtđ = 2.4,62=9,23 V

I1=I2= 9,23/20= 0,4615 A

I3= 2-0,4615=1,5385 A

The green bars are called "error bars." They indicate the range of uncertainty that scientists have about the data on the graph.
vovangra [49]

This graph shows data up to about 2010. So it couldn't have been drawn before 2010. OF COURSE the data from only 10 years earlier was more reliable than the data that was 120 years old ! It wasn't even measured the same way back then as it is now.
