Answer:

Value of each resistor will be 3 ohm

Explanation:

It is given that three are connected to a 12 volt battery in parallel

As we know that voltage across parallel combination is same

So voltage across each resistor will be same as 12 volt

It s given that current across each resistor is amperes

From coulomb's law we know that voltage across any resistor is equal to

V = I R

So resistance will be equal to R=\frac{V}{I}=\frac{12}{4}=3ohm

So value of each resistor will be 3 ohm

Answer:

3 ohm

Explanation:

Voltage, V = 12 V

Current across each resistor, i = 4 A

Let the value of each resistance is R.

By using Ohm's law

V = i x R

12 = 4 x R

R = 3 ohm

Thus, the value of each resistor is 3 ohm.

explain the main reasons why pressure and temperature play a critical role in the stability of gas hydrates. Name two situations
Sloan [31]
Using the phase diagram of methane, the pressure and temperature play a critical role in its stability since a slight change in the pressure or temperature will cause a phase change. At low temperature and high pressure, methane hydrate becomes solid (methane hydrate + ice). When the temperature is increased, it becomes liquid. This is one of the main challenges in harvesting methane hydrate, its instability.

What is the velocity of a wave that has a frequency of 400Hz and a wavelength of 0.5 meters
iren2701 [21]

Answer: 12

Explanation:

Let’s take for instance the case of a wave with a frequency of 400 Hz going through a material at a speed of .5 m/s. The wavelength result is 12 m. Wave velocity (m/s) = Frequency (Hz) x Wavelength (m)

Answer;

D) Standing wave

Explanation;

 • Standing wave also called stationary wave is a wave which oscillates in time but whose peak amplitude profile does not move in space.
 • A standing wave pattern is a vibrational pattern created within a medium when the vibrational frequency of the source causes reflected waves from one end of the medium to interfere with incident waves from the source.
 • Examples of standing waves include the vibration of a violin string and electron orbitals in an atom.

Can someone answer these questions
Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

1. Following the recoil principle, rockets use combustion (a controlled explosion) to work against earth's gravitational attraction.

2. A force is a push or a pull that acts upon an object as a results of its interaction with another object. ... These two forces are called action and reaction forces and are the subject of Newton's third law of motion. Formally stated, Newton's third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

(via physicsclassroom.com)

3. The combustion throws out material with very high momentum and is, physically speaking, the action. In reaction to that that, the rocket moves away from it (upward when in starts and has the action underneath it)

4. To show the world that commercial manned space missions are safely possible. Some may also like the fact that the US can now do, or rather order, manned flights into space without the help of the russian space agency (Roskosmos).

5. Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley

6. The international space station (ISS)

7. Yes, Stage 1 of the rocket landed on the drone ship. The crew opened the hatch to enter the space station after 21 hours and 39 minutes after the launch from Cape Canaveral.

8. To have private contractors such as SpaceX actively in the field, there are now more interest groups that participate in space travel. And they can interact with other companies as well.

Also, due to Musks dream and efforts of SpaceX, space travel seems to get a lot cheaper.

That might indeed open the way back to the moon and further to the Mars for human space flight.

Governments such as the US planned on such things for decades, but changed plans ever since, and routinely changed leadership and the opinion on what's important.

Now Spaceflights can become less politically motivated and more commercially. That seems to be a more stable way over long periods of time.

(wrote most of it for you myself, even tough I'm not a native English speaker. would really appreciate the brainliest if you appreciate the work)
