It is correct because the water level will be different when the statue fall into it the water level will be higher . it is because it is named by displacement
u subtract the the water level of the pond before the statue fall into it and after, this will get the volume of the statue.

Two people travel from Columbus to Cleveland, one by car at an average velocity of 90km/h, and one by plane at an average veloci
Flura [38]

Answer:

Explanation:

Yes , their displacement may be equal .

Suppose the displacement is AB where A is starting point and B is end point .

The car is covering the distance AB by going from A to B on straight line . On the other hand plane goes from A to C , then from C to D and then from D to B . In this way plane reaches B from A on a different path which is longer than path of the car . In the second case also displacement of plane is AB . In the second case distance covered is longer but displacement is same that is AB .

The membrane that surrounds a certain type of living cell has a surface area of 4.7 x 10-9 m2 and a thickness of 1.3 x 10-8 m. A
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

Q = 1.2*10⁻¹² C

Explanation:

  • For any capacitor, by definition the capacitance C is equal to the relationship between the charge on one of the conductors and the potential difference between them, as follows:

       C = \frac{Q}{V}  (1)

  • For the special case of a parallel plate capacitor, just by application of Gauss' law to a rectangular surface half out of the outer surface, and half inside it, it can be showed that the value of the capacitance C is a parameter defined only by geometric constants, as follows:

       C = \frac{\epsilon_{0}*\epsilon _{r} * A}{d}  (2)

  • So, due to the left sides in (1) and (2) are equal each other, right sides must be equal too.
  • Replacing ε₀, εr (dielectric constant), A, d and V by their values, we can solve for Q, as follows:

       Q =\frac{\epsilon_{0} * \epsilon_{r} *A* V}{d} = \frac{(8.85*(4.7)^{2}*79.5)e-24 (F/m*m2*V)}{1.3e-8m} =  1.2e-12 C = 1.2 pC  (3)

Jason applies a force of 4.00 newtons to a sled at an angle 62.0 degrees from the ground. What is the component of force effecti
kaheart [24]
You want to draw a free body diagram of the forces on the sled in the horizontal x-direction.

If you visualize the system in an x-y coordinate plane, the force along the x-direction is the angle it makes with the x-axis multiples by the force.

The angle made with the x-axis is cosine of the angle theta.

Please see picture attached.

What happens if we nuke a city?
nignag [31]
The shadow would subsequently drop the temperature in the city, forcing warmer air to rush in and violently destroy countless buildings. There would also be “black rain,” which would be the radioactive ash and dust that would liquify and pour down on the city and we would all die.
