A high pitch sound corresponds to a high-frequency sound wave and a low pitch sound corresponds to a low-frequency sound wave. So, the pitch of a note corresponds to the amount of frequency of a sound wave. Hope this helped!

Two resistors have resistances R(smaller) and R(larger), where R(smaller) < R(larger). When the resistors are connected in se
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

R = 9.85 ohm , r = 0.85 ohm

Explanation:

Let the two resistances by r and R.

when they are connected in series:

V = 12 V

i = 1.12 A

The equivalent resistance when they are connected in series is

Rs = r + R

So, By using Ohm's law

V = i Rs

Rs = V / i = 12 / 1.12 = 10.7 ohm

R + r = 10.7 ohm    .... (1)

When they are connected in parallel:

V = 12 V

i = 9.39 A

The equivalent resistance when they are connected in parallel

R_{p}=\frac{R+r}{rR}

So, By using Ohm's law

V = i Rp

Rp = V / i = 12 / 9.39 = 1.28 ohm

\frac{R+r}{rR}=1.28    .... (2)

by substituting the value of R + r from equation (1) in equation (2), we get

r R = 8.36 ..... (3)

R-r = \sqrt{\left ( R+r \right )^{2}-4rR}

R-r = \sqrt{\left ( 10.7 \right )^{2}-4\times 8.36}=9 ..... (4)

By solvng equation (1) and (4), we get

R = 9.85 ohm , r = 0.85 ohm

A motorbike reaches a speed of 20 m/s over 60m, whilst
Fynjy0 [20]

Initial speed = 2√10 m/s

<h3>Further explanation  </h3>

Linear motion consists of 2: constant velocity motion with constant velocity and uniformly accelerated motion with constant acceleration

An equation of uniformly accelerated motion

V = vo + at

Vt² = vo² + 2a (x-xo)

x = distance on t

vo / vi = initial speed

vt / vf = speed on t / final speed

a = acceleration

vf=20 m/s

d = 60 m

a = 3 m/s²

\tt vf^2=vi^2+2.ad\\\\20^2=vi^2+2\times 3\times 60\\\\400=vi^2+360\\\\40=vi^2\\\\vi=\sqrt{40}=2\sqrt{10}~m/s

A 22kg Accelerates at a rate of 2.3 m/s. What is the magnitude of the net force acting on the bike?
Tcecarenko [31]

magnitude of the net force = mass x acceleraton

                                             = 22 x 2.3

                                             =50.6 N

A block of ice at 0°C is added to a 150g aluminum calorimeter cup which holds 210 g of water at 12°C. If all but 2.0 g of ice me
Over [174]

Answer:

original mass of the block of ice is 38.34 gram

Explanation:

Given data

cup mass = 150 g

ice temperature = 0°C

water mass = 210 g

water temperature = 12°C

ice melt = 2 gram

to find out

solution

we know here

specific heat of aluminum is c = 0.900 joule/gram °C

Specific heat of water C =  4.186 joule/gram °C

so here temperature difference is dt =  12- 0 = 12°C

so here heat lost by water and cup are given by

heat lost  = cup mass × c  × dt + water  mass × C × dt

heat lost  = 150 × 0.900  × 12 + 210 × 4.186 × 12

heat lost  = 12168.72 J

so

mass of ice melt here = heat lost / latent heat of fusion

here we know latent heat of fusion = 334.88 joule/gram

so

mass of ice melt  =  12168.72 / 334.88

mass of ice melt  is 36.337554 gram

so mass of ice is here = mass of ice melt + ice melt

mass of ice  =  36.337554 + 2

mass of ice  =  38.337554 gram

so original mass of the block of ice is 38.34 gram
